"It gets even better," he said, a self satsified grin covering his maw as he padded up further. It was true that the noise of the waterfall coupled with the bleeting made a music of sorts, but Savhir wasn't going to let the symphony of sound go without its maestro. He through his head back and let a out a long and very loud howl, a battle cry of sorts.
This is when the 'music' really picked up. The bleeting of the deer now turned into sharp cries as Savhir began to run down the sides of the rocky path to get to them, his howling never ceasing.

Ohka tilted her head at his statement, how could it get even better? Her question was answered soon enough by Savhir howling out into the air, catching her somewhat offguard. His voice was deep, and caused a shiver to run down her spine.
Such a wolf he was.
She wasn't sure if she should mimic him, howl too. Or if it would interrupt what he was trying to accomplish. But none the less she follwoed after him. Her tail swaying back and forth, a smile, or a faint grin plastered on her maw as she kept after him. Her eyes went immediately to the family of deer. There was a darker pelted buck that seemed to watch over the fawn and mother. It began to make something in the back of Ohka's mind begin to twist adn threaten to snap.
But then she shook her head trying to clear the feeling from her. That same feeling is what got her in trouble with her pack. She was sure if she did something like that again, Savhir would get mad too.

It was wise that Ohka decided not to howl, for if she did so Savhir might have become angry.
"Run run little ones," he said, his bloodlust clearly getting the best of him as she snapped at the fawn, "Great Savhir will kill you and eat you all the same...."
He stopped all at once, ignoring Okha alltogether and looking straight at the buck. Their eyes both connecting and a dance of dominance was soon to be played. "Well, well," Savhir growled, "What do we have here....fresh meat....or fresh defeat.....?"

Ohka followed behind him keeping silent. In the past others didn't like her speaking, only doing what they said, that was 'her only use', least what others had told her. Watching the fawn begin to scamper off Ohka's stomach gurgled somewhat. She could've tried to catch the fawn, but she was too small. Even for an adult, she was smaller compared to most females. erhaps thats why she was so nervous around others, and submissive and accepting of other's orders of what to do.
So she stayed put, the fawn had gone off with its mother, leaving her to watch Savhir have a stand off with the grand buck. Its tail was high, eyes narrowed at Savhir. Ohka could count at least 10 points on his antlers...she couldn't count very high sometimes. Unless she tried real real hard...but it mostly hurt her head.
Ohka went to say something to Savhir, but decided to remain quiet. She was going to tell him to be careful. The few visible scars on the buck's shoulder muscles had her realize it had been in situations like this probably in the past, but Savhir...he seemed to confident. She wondered if he wanted her to do anything.
But she just stayed quiet, watching the buck and Savhir, waiting, in case he wanted her to do something.

Savhir charged. He didn't know if he would win this, he never did. If he had ever stopped to think on possiblities of winning then it'd just take the fight right out of him. And Savhir had always loved his bloodlust greatly. With snarling teeth and low growls he impacted upon the large buck first, knocking himself backwards in the process, but managing to rip a large chunck of flesh from the buck's shoulder. Circling 'around before the creature had time to respond Savhir used a neaby rock as leverage and jumped onto the buck's back and taking to biting and yanking any meat his mouth could connect with.
As he did he turned his massive head towards Ohka and growled, "Get the fawn.....leave the mother for me..."

Ohka watched in amazement as she watched Savhir go after teh buck with such ease and confidence. Never before had she seen someone hunt so aggressively and passionately. It took her aback for a moment. But the way he ripped into the buck was like he had ton it a thousand times before. His movements almost perfect against the struggle of the buck.
Wagging her tail and smiling she nodded, still not saying a word, in showing repsect to Savhir, she turned and trotted off in the direction thd fawn had scmapered off to. ONly a few yards away from the clearing Savhir was still at with the buck the mother was standing protectively in front of the fawn. The fawn cowering low to teh ground. It made Ohka smile.
Crouching down, ears folding back she crawled forward a few steps until the mother raised her head in question of what Ohka was doing. Ohka was appearing to be submissive to the mother. But when the doe raised her brow high enough Ohka leapt forward and batted at the mothers legs to make the doe stumble to the side leaving the fawn exposed, cowering helpless.
Smiling Ohka poked at the fawn once or twice, it curling up more in reponse. But she stopped, it wasn't right to play with your food. So she thrusted her open jaw forward and latched onto the fawn neck. Fangs ripping into its tender flesh, blood touching Ohka's tongue making her feel warm inside. The squeaking of the fawn stopped as its head flopped over dead. Turning around with her prize in her mouth Ohka came face to face with the mother who seemed quite angry. Growling lowly Ohka stood, not letting go of the fawn, standing her ground. "If Savhir can be brave...I can too..." she thought as she clamped down even harder on the neck of the fallen fawn.

Savhir continued to gnash and bite at the Buck until the giant creature fell to the ground. It was then that the massive wolf stepped away and smiled down at the fallen. Now, normally any kind and noble wolf would have made the killing blow, but this was not a good wolf, in fact Savhir had prided himself on being ruthless. So instead he let the buck suffer. He watched the crimson flowing out from the dark pelt until finally the buck's eyes lolled up and he was dead.
The the great tormentor threw his head up and howled, the finishing piece to his 'music.' After he was done, he trotted over, hoping that Ohka had done what he said, and the mother deer would be there waiting for him.

Ohka stood in a defensive way, still holding the fawn in her mouth. She wouldn't drop it, even if it was a bit heavy for one her size. Savhir told her to get teh fawn, so she did, she wouldn't leave it. She wanted to show him that she did it. Was able to do something.
The blood on her tongue tasted good, and she wanted to stop and rip into teh fawn's flesh there, but the doe was still standing close...to close actually. With angry narrowed eyes it was watching Ohka. PLus, Ohka also knew she couldn't eat yet, Savhir had to eat first and have his fill. Ohka was always told to eat last...
The doe pounded at the ground with her foot, kicking up a bit of dirt as OHka continued to growl. Ohka didn't want to let go of the doe's baby, but she didn't want to disappoint Savhir either. Her previous pack told her that she was a disappointment and failure, but now she felt as if she accomplished something. "I hope he finishes with the buck soon..." she thought. She knew deers would sometimes kick up and aim for a wolf's skull in the midst of turmoil.

"Why heeeeeeeello ladies," Savhir said happily yet still with gruffy undertones as he stepped up into the clearing where the doe, fawn and Ohka were. "Good job," he said nodding curtly once at Ohka seeing she had done what she was told. Well, that was always a good thing, to still know that he held command over others even though he was no longer a wolf of great rank. Though the beta minded not, for there were other things at hand.
"I bet you want to know what I did to your mate?" He growled out, his eyes flashing dangerously to the doe. "I ripped him apart inch by inch....and my comrade here....is going to do the same to your offspring....to you however...." he let a sick grin cross his maw. "You'll get to live......granted...." he let his eyes tick down slightly, "I'll be removing those legs of yours....but you'll be living all the same."

Ohka wagged her tail with anticipation. She didn't know why she enjoyed such things that others would consider 'sick and torturous,' she didn't understand that thoughts and actions like those were wrong. She thought they were fun, like a game to play in a way.
Her silver eyes watched Savhir, focused on him, what he said and where/how he moved. How confident he was with his actions, how...forceul. It made her feel funny inside, but a good feeling funny. With his comment towards her and the fawn she lifted her neck up high as if holding the fawn up as a trophy to the doe and she clamped her jaws together even more, making the neck of the fawn break even more. The crunching sounding good in her ears.
Take the doe's legs off?
That'd be interesting.
Ohka never thought of trying to do that before. She still didn't want to drop the fawn, but she made a motion towards the doe's left hind leg. Thats where she pawed at it to make her stumble. Maybe if Savhir hit that leg first it would make the doe falter in balance and in judgement.

Savhir had other ways to get the doe's legs off. He wasn't called the tormentor without reason. First he run forwards, twisting and grabbing until like he expected, the doe kicked at him. Grinning widely he doged and clamped down on her leg when she missed before rolled to the side. The leg twisted by default and with a sickening crunch it ripped off into his maw.
"Three to go," he spat, blood spewing everywhere. He lunched back in to get at her other legs, barely noticing Ohka at all.

Ohka padded a few feet away from the scene before her. She didn't want to get in the way of Savhir at all. So she nestled down by a bush not far from where he was. Still able to watch his every move. Her tail wagged a bit behind her as she lay still, just watching him.
For the first time since she killed it she lay the fawn before her. Lapping her lips and still tasting its blood on her tongue. She wanted to rip into its throat, she was getting so hungry. But Savhir's ideas were much more interesting to her. So she watched him rip away at the doe. She wanted to make sure he also had the first bite of their kill. She'd even offer him the fawn if it pleased him.
So she was quiet and still, and waited for him to be done torturing the doe. The air thickened with the scent of blood and death on the wind. But all was fine, all was good. All seemed right at this moment in time to Ohka.

It didn't take long before Savhir was finished for his ruthless ways. Indeed he had lived up to his words and the doe now lay there with her head laid on the ground, her eyes voicing her pain though her mouth had long since stopped working from the sheer efforts of her cries and the strain from it. He had removed her legs as promised and put them in a little pile in front of her.
"Now then," he said calmly, too calm for the monstrocity which he had just done. "I will leave you here so that you can live as I told you you'd be able to. Of couse...." he added with a twisted grin of sorts "If you don't get up and trot off then I suppose you'll be death before sunset....pity, isn't it?"
With the he turned to Ohka his tail wagging happily. "I'd leave that alone..." he said gruffily, his eyes still holding that hint of wildness within them. "A buck tastes much better...." He said nothing further and went back to the fallen male creature, already beginning to eat his fill before he even looked back to see if the other would join him in the feast.

Ohka smiled and wagged her tail and stood up, leaving the fawn on the ground. But she stopped short and looked back at the mother that was still somewhat alive on the ground, then looking at the fawn. Then an idea crossed her mind.
Going back to the fawn she picked it up in her maw and trotted over to the fallen doe, and laid the fawn next to it. The doe seemed uncomfortable, and from afar it would have seemed like an act of compassion. Letting the mother be with its child in the end.
But it wasn't...
Ohka wanted to see what the mother's reaction would be to her dead child. And a bit fmore fear was in the doe's eyes. Wagging her tail and padding away Ohka felt like she had made the finishing touch on Savhir's kill...well...torture...thing.
Stepping closer she stopped a yard away from the buck. Remembering that some wolves got agressive when they ate. And Savhir was stronger then her, and that meant he was to eat first. Least as far as she was concerned. She had always eaten what was left of a kill before. But she felt Savhir deserved to eat as much as he needed before she even got to taste the tender flesh of the fallen buck.

Savhir had just left before Ohka even moved so he did not catch the display of her callousness. Though had he caught it, he would have been quite impressed indeed. Such things were something he would have reveled in. But it was no matter, since the tormentor himself had no idea it had even occurred. By the time Ohka did return however, Savhir was busy ripping apart the buck, eating all of the belly meat first before he finally had his fill. Of course he had still left a bit of the meat for her, more then a wolf of her size would need, but the most of it had gone straight into Savhir's stomach.
"Your turn," he said gruffily moving away from his kill and flopping down on his belly to rest his head on his paws.
