Very true. I think Rupert is rather good as Ron (please don't think i'm being Bias because I like him because I am in love with Harry as well...who isn't?) and I think that though Daniel isn't a very good actor there is no one who could play Harry but Daniel. He just has that Harry feel about him. I think Emma Watson has gotten better as time went on with acting but I hate how they wrote Hermoine in the movies. I miss that tight arse rule loving chick. She gives in too easily when it comes to breaking the rules and she's alot more free-er. You don't get that great balance that the three of them have. I want the old hermoine from the books!! crying

-hugs- I know. I wanted bushy haired, rule loving prat Hermoine, not I'M NOT AN OWL GO BUGGER YOURSELF hermione.

3nodding I think they should have put more effort into the harry potter movies. There are so many people disappointed with them. Lord of the Rings Fans got to have a great movie done of the book but Harry Potter fans get terribly terribly disappointed. I see no fairness in that!

You should see the butchered up movie Scifi made for "EarthSea" I loved the movie... till I read the books... and realized the movie is NOTHING like the books.

They seem to have to hack things to pieces to make anyone who hasn't read the books watch the movies.

OMG!!! I saw that!!! I read the first two books of earthsea only though and bloody hell they did a number on that one! I despised it! I was looking forward to the bit where the main character tries to bring back the dead and ends up bringing the shadow. And they made it so anti climatic! And they had the beginning so screwed up. Especially with the name bit. His real name is SPARROW HAWK!!! What is it they tell him it is in the movie? I think they used his real name Ged or something. I know they didn't use sparrow hawk. >.< Damn them! Three long glorious books all pitifully squeezed together. DAMN YOU SCI-FI CHANNEL!!! ....well...I don't damn you SO much..you do have the twilight zone. ^-^ Which makes me uber happy. 3nodding I just saw Anna and the King a little while ago and Tom Felton is such a cutey! A good actor too! I think his role as Molfoy is ofcourse better. He made the character better in the movie then I could think up in my head while I read the book. He owns the role. 3nodding And that's his own accent too which sort of amazed me because it fits so well for Malfoy.

-NODS ON THE MALFOY BIT-
I've watched 6 of his movies to date.

-loved them all-

And yeah.. the first book... GODS I LOVED THAT. The second book was boaring for the first few chapters because of the bit about the preiestess which is NOTHING like what was in the movie. They kept the names. That's it.
The third book. They cut it entirely. Can't have gay love between a 13-14 year old and a 70+ year old and show it on a tv movie.

lol You miss out on quite alot when you don't read the last book I guess. lol And no they have the names wrong i'm sure of it because I bitched for like an hour about it. 3nodding I liked the priestess bit in the beginning. I fancied how they talked about her being destined and what not. I haven't read the books since middle school. I have the books on disk though. I remember first reading the 1st earthsea book when I was in...6th grade. I did a wonky book report about it with a presentation to boot. 4laugh

I hope Daniel yells that part...And actually shows emotion..no offense to Daniel Radcliffe fans but he has the emotional acting scale of a thumb tack. stare

I love you for that.
It's so true though.
And his crying sounds like he's having an epileptic fit. . . >>

I still thinkt he 5th book was excellent but my gawd did the last book blow my mind. Even though for a great part of it the main characters were sniping at each other and sitting around. xd
