Taking it, she jotted out her signature and handed the girl back the pen and the paper. Looking down, she smiled at the little salamander, who was secretly her guardian and sole true companion. "Yeah, he's pretty cool. He keeps me company at the very least." Her parents didn't run off or anything, even though her dad was a CEO of a large corporation, he managed to do a lot of his work from home so that he could be with his family, the same with her mother's job as a psychiatrist.

::smiles a bit as she strokes the salamander's head with a finger before handing the package over along with their copy of the receipt:: that's great, having the company i mean. well... ::pushing herself back to her feat, she tucks her copy of the receipt into her back pocket:: thanks for shopping Micgleni Antiques, "the one stop shop, if we can't get it, it probably doesn't exsist" we value your patronage and hope you continue to keep us in mind for your future needs ::bowing deeply with a flourish that seemed like it should send her sprawling on her backside, considering she did it on wheels. when she straightens, she grins and salutes the other girl with a cheerful wink:: chao! ::lacing her fingers behind her head, she begins the leasiurely trek back home. peeking out of her pack pocket would be something that would probably be oddly familar to the fire captor, the top edge of a Sakura card. the girl had found it stuck under a rock that morning and carelessly tucked it into her back pocket, quickly forgetting about it::

Remmy blinked a few times, making sure she wasn't just hallucinating after a need to find another captor, before standing up and jogging after the girl. "Hey.." she put a hand on her shoulder to get her to stop and then stepped in front of her. "Where'd you get that card in your back pocket?" She'd found hers when it fell on her out of a tree in the park when a freak wind blew, and Pyralis had found her soon afterwards.

:;she blinks when she's stopped but doesn't hold still for long, instead opting for linking her arm with the strange girl's and dragging both of them back into motion:: sorry, if you wanna chat with me, we're going to have to walk while we talk. i'm on the clock... ugh... i'm starting to sound like Uberto with all his freaking rhyming ::shakes her head. once she's sure that Remmy's walking with her, she releases the other girl and pulls out the contents of her back pocket, tucking the receipt away again:: you mean this card? i found it this morning. it was sort of jammed under a rock. why?

She did walk with her, Pyralis bouncing on her shoulder as they went. "Well, I have one just like that." she said, digging into her pocket and pulling it out to show to the girl. Well, it wasn't just like it, but it was the same style and basics as her own card. It was definitely an elemental, the Dark. "I found mine a little while ago."

huh.... ::she studies the Firey card curiously:: is it some kind of new game or something? i thought it was just one of the girls' toys or something. or maybe one of the boys'... ::said as she tucks hte card back into her pocket::

"No, um, actually..." How to explain that? If she found it earlier then maybe her guardian hadn't found her yet, but if Pyralis had been right, cards didn't just fall into someone's hands, they were chosen even if it only seemed like a mere coincidence. "The cards have.." how to explain without looking like she was completely insane? "Um, powers." Well, she probably sounded like a loony now, not that it mattered all that much, as long as she could somehow manage to convince the girl that she had found the card for a reason. Perhaps a talking salamander might put things into perspective?

::stares at her a moment before laughing:: oh wow... you almost had me going there for a second. :;with a small burst of speed, she gets a couple steps ahead of Remmy and twists so that she's skating backwards, still watching the other girl:: who put you up to it? one of the boys? Padre? that's the sort of thing Padre'd think of

Well, she should have expected this to happen really, being that everyone, including herself, always had it shoved down her throat that magic and fairy tales were just that, tales. But, the reality of it was kind of hitting her in the gut, so she couldn't exactly ignore it anymore and if it was all a marvelous dream, then it didn't really matter. Mostly she just accepted it. "No one put me up to it." she sighed, trying to figure out how to make her understand.
Finally she turned to the salamander. "How about you tell her Pyralis?"

"Well she obviously doesn't believe me!" she said, picking Pyralis up off her shoulder and frowning at him. Normally she didn't get frustrated, but it wasn't like it was easy convincing a skeptic that she wasn't just playing a joke, and she couldn't exactly demonstrate here or without her sword to act as a staff. She then looked up at Franki. "It's not a trick, my ventriliquism is terrible."

Remmy let out a little huff of air. "Look, just, hand me the card a minute and I'll prove I'm being serious." If she was right, the card would try to get away from her and back to Franki in some way or the other. Hopefully it would be obvious enough that she would believe her.

Remmy took the card, wondering exactly how she could get the card to react to her, since her holding it didn't seem to bother it at all. Perhaps... Aha! Pulling out a pen, she uncapped it and brought the tip toward the bottom of the card. The card suddenly reacted, the dark starting to crawl up her arm until she dropped it and it descended back into the card.
