Ah yes the first anime to hit western shores along with DB and DBZ

Actually Astroboy got over here before any of those three. But yeah...SM... what a great anime it is.

My god you're right astro boy I used to watch that show religiously did he once turn into a real boy unable to fly? I always did think his 'superoufit' was a little wrong tight black shorts? comon peeps but anyway it was good for it time

He's a robot! Besides back then the whole 'limitation' of what we should be permitted to see wasn't as strict. Besides it's not like back then ( I was what 7 or so at the time) all the little kids were thinking "hot robot boy". If I remember correctly it was " COOL he can FLY!!" among other things. I have an Astro boy DVD. I bought a little while ago now. xd

When I see DVD's of old shows like that I get them as soon as I can. I mean classic stuff like that heart ...... I have a couple boxed sets of He-Man, special DVD set for She-Ra, a boxed set of Gargoyles, a dvd of Fraggle Rock, Astro boy, Rainbow Brite......now if they'd make a boxed set or something for Jem and The Holograms THAT'D be cool!

but wut about sailormoon that waz the first anime i seen it waz pretty good at first till i move on to like pokemon and others but when i look at sailormoon it darwing waz kind of bad and cappy i would not say it waz the best anime cause all of it seasons it came out whit seem like the ppl didn't want to improve the look of it and pokemon well it waz good at fist and waz getting alot better and they like had over 500 new pokemon come for many of there season to many charter chages nice look of darwing and the story waz pretty good and i really like it better then sailormoon so all i have to say
