I played one and two so many time s that I no longer care for those two. I gave them to my friend. I still happy for you though.

My mom bought suikoden 1 and 2 for me on Amazon.com for $300 total! She was mad but I waited for 2 years until she finally caved in. We honestedly looked through about 15 gamestops, and no one had either of them. I finally got them some time last August in the mail.

You know man, I'm not feeling this 'no Gamestops have it trend.' I think most people are just being lazy. Seriously, last time I checked, there were more than a few Gamestops that had Suikoden 2 within ten miles from my house... and twice as many had Suikdoen 1. Ah well... what can you do...

Congrats Chikuu! I know this thread is really old and you've experienced the magic that is the first pimp and his first ho', Gremio, but I just had to celebrate this auspicious(OMG Big word I only have an inkling of what the meaning is!) day!
If you can't find Suikoden 1 or 2, in your local game stores, you're not trying hard enough!!

I MADE my mother go through funcoland (it's gone now, I think) to find Suikoden 1 while I was playing Suikoden 2 cause I was just so engrossed in the playin' that i refused to leave my room till I collapsed on my cousin who wouldn't shut up cause he wanted to play syphon filter. I cracked that mofo' on the head! I know Chikuu can relate cause she gangsta' like 'dat!
(P.S. I checked what 'auspicious' meant, and I was right, it did mean something good)
(P.P.S. Oh dear, this post is longer that I had first planned it to be, I should stop.)

Mirror must be more computer-illiterate than she first thought, since I can't seem to figure out on Gamestop's site how to check if my local Gamestop and EB Games have Suikoden. All I can do is check to see if they have it on the shelf while I'm in the store. XD How did you check?
And grats on getting the joy back! I know what you mean about ruined games. My brother just ruined my Tales of the Abyss disc, and it freezes up every time I try to proceed any further into the plot. I'm only 6 hours into the game! >,<

Ya gotta be kiddin' me. I searched gamestop for 'Suikoden' and it doesn't come up with anything but 3, 5 and tactics.
Why won't it show Suikoden 1 or 2!?
But on amazon, Suikoden 1 goes for 50$..whee!

That's what I tried to check, and ended up with the same thing. XD I bought V and Tactics at my local Gamestop, but haven't seen any of the earlier games before III.

I remember when my nephew broke my Suikoden disc. I was so friggin pissed! Even though he was like 2 or 3. But I just bought another one from ebay. No big deal. The first disc wasn't even mine, it was a friend of my brother's. xd

Tales of the Abyss... that game is soooo ghetto-fabulous. I about went on utter rampage mode when I found out. I was playing, got to the middle of a movie scene, when all of the sudden the voices vanish. It was something I could have dealt with, but then it gets to a certain frame, and just freezes completely on it. T^T
And indeed it is ghetto-fabulous. ♥
My friends are convinced I should buy another copy, then return it with the ruined disc inside. XD
