Aido gave Diae an apologetic look as he pouted before nodding, a slightly pensive look tugging at her lips, "mmhmm, my Aemu was there when I opened my eyes at this Beginning, and my scarf was with me," around her neck, to be specific, where the cloth basicly hadn't left since.
Idly Aido wondered where, or what, Diae had been before, but kept those questions to herself.

Diae squirmed a bit before wrigling his way over Aido's knees to reach the ground. Bare toes skimmed the floor before Diae slid with a rather loud thud underneath the table. He reached back up and grabbed Eains scarf until Tale Doll and goggles were all beneath the table.
"Wanna play?" Diae asked from his relatively hidden spot. The boy reached up slightly to grasp the hem of Aido's skirt, tugging gently to get her attention.

Aido let the younger Tale go without complaint and tilted her head to quietly watch as best she could as Diae and his possessions dissapeared beneath the table.
A smile tilted her lips at his inquiry and she nodded, "sure, what do you wanna play, Diae?"

"A fun game!" Diae shouted throwing his arms above his head in glee, "Does Ai-ai know any fun games?"
The boy looked up with a grin crossing his face. He liked Aido and had no idea as to why. In the short time Diae had known Aido, the other Tale had managed to frighten him, comfort him and amuse him. What's not to love?

Aido chuckled and 'hrm'ed, tapping a finger against her lips as she thought of what a 'fun' game might be for the younger Tale. "Well... I know a few that might be fun. There's tag and hide n'go seek...." out of the corner of her eye Aido watched Diae to see if he'd jump on either of the immediate games that had popped into her mind.

"Wha's hide n' seek?" The boy asked with a intrigued look upon his face. He didn't want to play tag for when he played it with Sie, both brothers had run into each other leaving Diae with a lump on his head for a day.

"Hide n'seek is a game where one person closes their eyes and counts to twenty, they're the seeker, while the other person, the hider, well... hides. When the seeker finished counting they open their eyes and they have to find the hider," Aido explained easily, nodding her head on reflex at the end.
"Would you like to try it out?"

Diae nodded from his seat on the floor. With an enthusiastic shout he raised Eain over his head with a large grin.
"Ai-ai can hid and Eain and me count?" He asked sheepishly noting the semi-loud noise he made, "Or does Ai-ai wanna count too?"

Aido's smile stretched into a grin and she laughed warmly as Diae's enthusiasm.
Tapping Diae's goggles she slid off her chair, "hiding is good with me," she replied with a nod.

Diae tapped Aido's scarf in response to the goggle-tap and nodded sharply before he scurried from underneath the table. He quickly crouched in the nearest corner covering his eyes and smothering Eain into his chest so that the doll would not peak.
"umm...One....Two...Free....four...five...nyu." Came the defeated sound as Diae admitted that he sometimes messed up his counting. He instead decided to hum the alphabet an easier way on his part for time to pass.

Aido had to stifle a giggle at Diae's 'counting' with her hand and quickly stole out of the room.
After pausing and looking around the Tale meandered her way down the hall and snuck into the closet near the first floor bathroom, wedging herself into a corner and allowing a few coats to block the top view of her, though she couldn't do much to hide her legs and feet.
As quietly as she could she shut the door until it was only open a small sliver and contented herself to wait until Diae found her.

"Ex...Why...Zee." Diae said before blinking his eyes at the light as he scanned the room. He looked to his left, no Aido. To the right, still no Aido...Under the table and yet still he could not find the older Tale.
"Ai-ai? Where'd you go?" He called out into the empty kitchen. "Ai-ai? Are you hiding?"
After a few more moments of searching the kitchen Diae stopped dead and sat down with a thud.
"Why is Ai-ai gone?" Tears welled in his eyes as he stood and ran into the living room aiming for Chao, Eain in hand as he clutched the life out of the doll in fear.
"Aunie Chao! Aunie Chao! Ai-ai's gone! Ai-ai dissapeared!" The boy said between sobs as he gripped Chao's legs.

Just after Diae finished 'counting' Aido shifted a little in her hiding place, shrugging off the coat that kept trying to drape over her head.
Sadly the small motion off set the delicate balance that the jumble of coats, many of which weren't even on hooks, had achieved, and set off a small avalanche atop the Tale.
Aido's own cries were deeply muffled by the fabric and she couldn't hope to hear Diae's cries for her as well.
Chao blinked as her friend's child suddenly came barreling in and latched onto her legs.
Carefully she leant down and gently picked up Diae, her inital worry that Aido had scared the boy somehow was banished when her brain processed what the younger Tale was sobbing, "Diae? Diae, did you say that Aido dissapeared?" Chao asked, a sharp tinge of fear spiking within her. Was this like last time? Had Aido gotten pulled into some other place again?!

Diae nodded with tears steaking his cheeks. Watery blue eyes gazed up at Chao with fear and sadness pouring over his features.
"We...We were playing Hi 'n sheep. 'n I counted and then I looked and she was gone-" The end of his sentence was lost to a sob and a sniff. Hi wiped his eyes on his over sized sleeve, clutching Eain tight enough that his knuckles turned white.
"I wan't Aiai back, aunie-chao." He muttered helplessly before burrowing into the girl's shoulder.

'Hi'n sheep'? Chao frowned, her worry dissapating some as that particular sentance registered as 'important' in her brain. The teen abruptly chuckled as comprehension dawned, "oh, Diae, hun, she's probably just hiding." Gently she hugged the young tale and, gripping him gently, stood, casting a slightly amused look over her shoulder at Hikari before looking back to him.
"Come on, let's go find her, I'm sure she's just hiding..." she trailed off, trying to place herself in her daughter's mindset for a moment, "in the closet or something."
Inside the closet Aido was waging a miniture war against the coats, fighting against their cumulative weight without all that much luck.
