Bullet: It would be easy to tell an edit apart from the rest of the images unless someone put a lot of effort into creating a fake.

xD Wow. It turns out I HAVE changed my avatar's gender. Shoy hacked my account in 04, changed the gender, and left. So I was a Girl for about a day. I was NAKED. X3 None of my clothes fit. So I changed back.
