Shiney Dollar Harvested Sorrow Why is Metallica on that list? You may like them, but they certainly don't fit into this category, or the "classic metal" category, either, since that's 70's bands. xp Hell, I see a hard rock band in the metal category, too. xp metallica started in the 80's you know... What's your point...?

MetalHead76 Ugh.. I don't know if my posts are showing up or what. Anyways, I thought of the category, but I'm not sure if it belongs. New Wave? Like, the Police, the Cars, etc etc. You're right..for a long time(for me at least) NO posts in guilds were showing up, unless they were made before a certain time... sweatdrop

Well, the genre list has now had the living hell edited out of it. xp There will probably still be some "iffy" genre issues, but I've cleaned up the genre's a bit, and added a new category or two, along with alphabetizing the listings under each genre. Just keep in mind that some bands tend to overlap genres, so they'll be in more than one.

Sweet! The list is awesome. Definitely. 3nodding But I do think a New Wave category belongs. So far we'd have:
The Cars The Police Devo The Talking Heads
And thank you for thinking of Meatloaf. I hated having the genre with just one band under it, but Queen was too important to leave out.

If you like that genre, then add it. xp And hell..I had no choice..that genre didn't really fit, but with a little editing it did, and that included another band under the description. I think my 70s rock addition probably helped alot...no more using "hard rock" as a generic genre, if it doesn't fit under anything else you can use "60s rock" or "70s rock". xp

What about The Ramones?Though they are punk, they did have an influential hard rock sound.Just a suggestion. And I suggest Yes for the Prog or New Wave lists.

Ah, yes, Steve Miller Band. I was just talking about them with a friend today.
I have to go, though, so I can't update it at the moment. I'll get around to it. Eventually.
