Unfortunately, I have only read books 2-4, and I haveb't had the chance to read 1 coz I just got it, and I don't have 5....sniffle..I have..ish 6 and 7 tho...
BUT from what I've gathered, I love Light. He's just too smexy and smart as well as clever and fit to ignore. Then again, so is L....ah, both are awesome.
I would be a Shinigami, if only I wouldn't scare people. Ryuk himslef scared me for a pretty long while. He just seemed spooky and ugle. Now I'm used to him, but as long as I can be a person who can see names and life spans, plus fly (FWEE) and be reasonably attractive (Selfish, aren't i? blaugh ) I'd like to be a Shinigami. Of course, working all your life and dying when you fall in love is pretty screwy. Maybe a human is easier...goodness I can't make up my mind today...
I wouldn't be able to handle the aspect of Death so lightly, so no, I wouldn't own a DeathNote. I'd just stare at it, then maybe write the first few letters of a name, chicken out, and stare some more. Or I'd scream and toss it out a window. At least I know the answer to that one!
I most likely will reply later when I know some more about DeathNote.

I've watched part of the anime so far and i'm reading the manga heart

The movie is on youtube...only no subs..So it's hard to understand whats going on some times.
