degenerate316 Mangafairy You should read The BooK of the Five Rings, it has tips such as 'on a bright day have your back to the sun, whick will make your opponent face it, making it difficult to aim attacks.' simple things like that can really help! Thanks. Sounds like an interesting book. I'll keep a lookout for it. I am sure, as have most martial-artists that you have heard of the writer... Miyamoto Musashi! rofl

Depends on the situation. I'll use anything and everything around me during any kind of a fight. Though I haven't really needed to yet, I did once in the hallway outside of the clubroom at school. I don't really want to go into the details on what happened though, one of my friends lifted me up on his shoulders in the hallway, and the end result I used the walls to DDT him. I don't think I hurt him because of how I was holding him, my arm took most of the impact. Improvise, and react to each situation as it arises. I'm not sure if Merlin was there, I know that he(my friend) is on gaia.

You really would be suprised about the weapons that are on YOU in everyday to day living. People often overlook the mundane items such as their Belts,keys,pens,suitcase,comb,wallet chain, their coat, a necklace, and more. One of my favorites is if ....IF I KNOW the stuff is about to hit, I may take off one of my socks and fill it with whatever I can. Rocks,loose change,scrap metal,etc,etc. I now have a sap of sorts. Another is to take out my comb and make sure it is possitioned in my hand so that when I punch I may also render their flesh with the edges and teeth of the comb. Think about what you carry on you and what you could do with it. It becomes fun after a while. lol ^_^

i have a long metal fingernail filer that i was carry with me. it makes a great weapon, so i carry it up my sleeve when i think i need to. i once stabbed someone and kept walking, but they didn't see what i did because i slid the nail filer up my sleeve quickly. blaugh he was in pain, but wasn't sure how.

The best weapons are your surroundings. A wall, the ground, any kind of obsticles laying on the ground, the sun... All can be used against your opponent.
When it comes to makeshift weapons, anything that causes a point-load works. A cylidrical object such as a lighter or marker can be used effectively if you hold it in your fist, and then hammer them with it.
Against someone with a blade, you can take off your coat or something, and wrap it around your arm to be used as a shield. If you don't have a coat, a belt works just as well, if not better. Just make sure your pants don't fall off during the fight!
You gain a tremendous upper hand if you have any kind of hafted object, such as a cain, stick, pole, pipe, whatever... A simple stick can crack someone's skull if swung fast enough.

Son of Nirvana Because of my ninjutsu background I would use obstacles in my enviroment to get away. It is always best to avoid a fight. I absoulutely agree! esspessially since were martial artist its even more dangerous for us to get in many fights in the first place! (as far as law is concerned)
