"I don't want you to move away either." He admitted, obscurely and inexplicably pleased that he was seperate from 'everyone'. "Even if you can't stay in that house, you could get another house here."

"We could." Galatea tried for a brave smile but she was still a bit chill and stiff in his hold. "Perhaps we could move closer to here. Oh, and Miss Ice Queen's home."

"What does the Captain want to do?" He asked, suddenly realising that it might be a point of concern. If Captain Rabik was very upset, he had no idea what she might want to do about where she lived.

Galatea considered the question for a few long moments and then shook her head slowly in defeat. She had no idea. The Captain had not given her more than a handful of words since her return. She could not begin to guess at what the Captain wanted. "I do not know. She seems very angry with the Fleet so she might wish to stay here where there are few reminders... I think."

Hadrian wasn't entirely sure how you could be angry at something that didn't exist...but then maybe Galatea meant that the Captain was angry that the fleet DIDN'T exist anymore. Either way, he had no idea what Captain Rabik would do about it. "I'm sure she will find a way to stay if she wants to stay..." Hadrian said, trying to sound reassuring.

That, at least, seemed to brighten Galatea's mood and she smiled up at him. "You're right, of course," she agreed. "The Captain is very intelligent and strong-willed. I'm sure she will think of something once she is calm again."

The older feien breathed a silent internal sigh of relief at Galatea's genuine smile. He didn't like seeing her so upset. "And, I bet she'll listen to you if you mentioned that you would be happy staying here." He offered, though this he wasn't nearly so sure about.

"Of course she will... When she is calmer." Galatea nodded again, firmer this time. Then, carefully, she slipped from his arms and stepped back a bit, shy again. "She is very good to me."

He let his arms slip to his sides, realising he hadn't really noticed that he had kept them around her during the conversation. "How long do you suppose it will take for her to calm down?"

She considered this for a moment and then shrugged. "I do not know," she admitted. "I've never ever seen her so upset before. She sleeps badly," she added, eyes drifting vaguely towards Hadrian's own bed. "Tossing and turning."

"Does she have anyone to talk to about it?" Hadrian asked, thinking that the Captain clearly wasn't having personal talks with Galatea.

Galatea thought about the question for long moments, her hands knotting behind her as she rocked ever so slightly onto the balls of her feet. Finally, she shook her head slowly. "I don't think so," she admitted. "I don't know where Mr. Autry has gone and Dr. Beckham has not visited in a very long time."
"I miss him," she added shyly.

Hadrian, whose brief experience with 'Mr. Autry' has not left him with the best opinion of the man as a confidant for anyone - much less Captain Rabik, was inclined to write him off the list in general. But of course, his friends quiet suggestion that she missed Dr. Beckham (who Hadrian did not know), was quite enough to give him a direction.
"You could ask him to visit, couldn't you?" He offered, smiling slightly.

"Oh, I couldn't!" The very idea seemed to send shivers through the younger feien and she went wide-eyed at her friend. "I would not even know how to ask."

Hadrian, who was definitely not what one might call shy, looked confused at Galatea's reaction to the idea. "Well...I mean...couldn't you just call him and say that you would like it if he could visit sometime?" He sounded hesitant, as though he thought he might be missing something and wasn't sure if there was something monumental keeping her from doing just as he suggested.
