wafflezinmahpantz But back on topic, even if we "closed" the borders, illegal immigrants would still find a way in. :X Wow, people are still holding on to that "close the borders" silliness. And this is when I thought most in California had the critical thinking abilities to know how to translate."Closing the borders" to illegal immigrants, ensuring that only legal migrants are welcome in this states, would benefit California. And about them finding other ways in, let's address why they break our immigration laws in the first place. They come into this country illegally to work jobs that "no Americans will do", but no one questions that they're breaking the Immigration and Nationality Act. Now, if companies in this country are only allowed to hire citizens and legal migrants, then a big reason for illegal immigration will dry up.

It's 2005. It's been 2005 years since man started to take note of the days, and we have lived longer than that. Isn't it about time that earth, our planet, have no borders. Take pride in your country and be patriotic, but don't deny your brothers and sisters that land that they are also a part of. It wouldn't be a problem if they become citizens, pay taxes and such.
And 'bout our Govna'.
Education is going up, and it looks like we can't do anything about it. California has a lot of problems, and without raising taxes, students like most of us here are paying for it. People fear raising taxes too much, but at this point, its much more beneficial than allocating funds. Isn't funny that he himself went through college here in CA for free.
Oil and gas prices are going up. Not only here in CA, but everywhere. So yeah, go public transport, carpooling or alternative energy resources.

I think we need to close the border. At my school the illegals are causing problems. they've spraypanted all around my school and about 3 weeks ago I was in the canyon walking home and some of them living out there tryed to mug me but I got away. Their just causing trouble.

I think that we need to close our boarders because of the huge immigrant problem we have. I see both sides and i have no problem with people trying to seek a new or better life, but i think that we have too many immigrants in the US. I also do not think that we should give people who are here illegally, the right to drive legally, but that is a different topic for a different place

Closing the borders is a good idea. It will give the legal citizens of this country the benefits that would usually go to the illegal immigrants.

and they do pay taxes u dumb s**t before u start talking crap u should study it more i mean im mexican my neghiboor is white his old but tough and he does not support what arnold says he supports or illigals why because if we didnt have any takes would probely be higher u wouldent have food u probely wouldent even have a house so before u start to target anything u should STUDY the subject more
