The Master was my favorite villian because he was more subtle than the rest. And he's got personality. A little personality can go a long way.

Well, if you're counting monsters as villains too, It'd either be: Daleks, Autons, Cybermen, Sontarans, The Master(Delgado or Ainley-I wasn't fond of Roberts' portrayal), Davros, The Meddling Monk or the Reapers (from Fathers Day).I also liked Margeret Slitheen (played to perfection by Annette Badland.)

I liked the main villians like the Master, the Daleks and the Cybermen, but I also liked some that were only on for one serial. Some of my favourites would be the Kandyman and Eldrad.

Eldrad must live... Eldrad must live...
Some of my favorite one-shot (or two-shot) villians were:
Josiah Smith (Ghost Light) The Chief Clown (Greatest Show in the Galaxy) Lytton (Resurrection of the Daleks; Attack of the Cybermen) The Graff (The Ribos Operation) Scaroth (City of Death... which, incidentally, is such a nice nickname for Paris) Solon and Morbius (The Brain of Morbius) The War Chief and War Lord (The War Games)

Bwahaha I've seen city of death now and yes, Scaroth is a damn cool looking villain even if you find yourself trying not to titter at him o__o
From the new series I'd say the best baddies were the revamped Daleks...in all their insane religious glory xD

Yeah, Scaroth was an awesome villian. For someone with lots of peices of garden hose stuck to their head... smile

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of Scaroth with "the mask that looks just like that rich guy in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" on... xd
Incidentally, according to IMDB, Julian Glover also had a bit part in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets as... the voice of Aragog.

For some reason I like the Daleks and Cybermen. I know that the Cybermen are going to be in the new season but I wish that they had the Daleks in this new season.

Well, there's been an unsubstantiated rumor about the Daleks possibly showing up in the 2006 season, but we'll have to see if it really happens. I'd actually prefer if the Daleks didn't come back so soon... it feels like it's more of a special event to see them when their appearances are more sporadic.

I'd actually prefer if the Daleks didn't come back so soon... it feels like it's more of a special event to see them when their appearances are more sporadic. In an interview with the Radio Times at Christmas, Russel.T.Davies is on record as saying although he likes the idea of bringing back bits of 'Who past each series he thinks they'll remain limited to one-offs to allow the series to develop its own mythology. He also stated categorically that, while he's in charge least, there'd be no more Daleks. But then as with most things surrounding the show this is all entirely open to change as and when the production team feel like it xD
