"Sure, I see it." And with that he sank his teeth firmly into the neck of the dead deer and raised it up so that noly it'sback hooves dragged along the ground. He moved slowly but surely, being careful not to get tangled up int it's legs so that he was sent hurtling over.
Amari being clumsy was the norm, but he was getting better and the young-ish male was showing signs of learning to adapt. God knows how he survived on his own as a juvenile without Maawio to hunt for him! If it hadn't been for his expertise at scavenging he probably would have died long ago.
With a sharp tug of his head he finally dropped the klipspringer to the ground and turned to see if the jackal had followed. "There yah go buddy! Enjoy your meal!"

Auri bowed his head in a show of appreciation. "Thank you Amari." He went to take the Klipspringer to go the rest of the way up the path, but before he did so, he turned back to Amari. "Where in the Pride Lands do you live?" He grinned "Maybe I can give you more lessons."

He smiled and bowed his head slightly, respect for this jackal genuine. "It should be me thanking you, carrying the carcass was the least I could do, 'specially when you did the hard part."
At his question he turned his head to left and gestured with a paw. "I live down there with my mate Maawio and my son Mbari, feel free to come visit anytime."
He backed down the way he had come, pausing only to give a farewell comment. "More lessons would be appreciated. See yah round bud." And with that he was heading back the way he had come, circling around pride rock to one of the dens located at it's base.
(( I'm pretty sure that's the location of Maawio's den, though I'd have to ask Zo-Zo to confirm it @__@ *is forgetful dunce* thanks for the awesome RP Masa, Auri rawks <3 ))

Auri smiled warmly, his tail flicking contently from side to side. He had met a new friend today, one that wasn't a member of Malaika's family. "I'll be sure to pay you a visit." He said with a firm nod, positive that he would stay true to his word.
As the lion turned to walk away, the Jackal continued to smile. "It was nice meeting you friend!" He called after him, before grabbing the deer body by its neck and dragging it up the path.
