Here's some video on the subject. The following is an AMV on UTube. (cause utube is so convenient) It's someone playing the game. You can really get a feel for how the air fights will be. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ytdt0__hcew

Update!
The following is a Preview printed in NewType Magazine: Author: Kevin Gifford
Eureka Seven Volume 1: The New Wave Another Game, Another Story >>Previews of anime-based games tend to be reminiscent of a car salesman who's just had a look at your credit report and is trying to steer you over to that little Kia on the far end of the lot. You, the buyer, know it's not going to be as great as all the other cars on the road (or games on the shelf), but at the same time you can't just turn your back on it- it's got all your favorite characters from the show, and maybe there'll be some neat new story bits, too. >>A new playable version of the first game in Bandai's upcoming Eureka Seven series reveals that there's nothing to worry about. Sure, The New Wave's got a ton of new story- it covers ex-elite soldier Sumner Sturgeon as he drops his career plans to become an LFO pilot for the U.F. Force. His main cohort: Ruri, a genius pilot and mechanic with a knack for appearing at odd places and leaving weird clues for Sumner to decipher. >>The best part of the preview so far? The robo-lifting, no doubt, which takes your typical video-game mech fighting and turns it into something that almost resembles a sports game. That alone makes New Wave one to look forward to this October.
