There's nothing wrong with a war the people believe in... yes but it's kind of weird thing to say that because the muslim extremists believe in the war against israel.>.> soooo is that right? it's all about who you ask and that persons morals thought process and such. I suppose you're right... Who knows.

Cease fire? Um, no.
My brother showed me this article someone emailed to him. It was saying how everytime Israel gets in a war with someone, they'll duke it out for a bit. Then once Israel starts beating them REALLY hard, the other country will start begging for a cease fire, and then that's what they get. And it also said that Israel and Hezbolla need to just keep fighting it out instead of the rest of the world giving in to the other side.

My brother showed me this article someone emailed to him. It was saying how everytime Israel gets in a war with someone, they'll duke it out for a bit. Then once Israel starts beating them REALLY hard, the other country will start begging for a cease fire, and then that's what they get. And it also said that Israel and Hezbolla need to just keep fighting it out instead of the rest of the world giving in to the other side. yea no one cares about them fighting it out it's the fact that inoccent people are dieing. plus the whoel christian community really got people all pissy, cause you know if we hurt the precious christians then all hell freezes over stare rolleyes I don't know i go back and forth, i think that they should beat hezbolla, but then i think everyone is against israel except the few right minded people. Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon and thinking that israel has to be uber nice. I mean that is what it is you know it right, they think that because israel is the only jewish nation and it's so importnat to the jews that you guys should be extra nice to everyone else, since the middle east in majority muslim. Am I making any sense?

i will explain why i said "oh well":
welll, Olmert (Israe's vice president) said in one of his speeches,
"we are already tired of winning". i think we are not! we look like we won sometimes, but it isnt always true! (someone i know said:" that Olmert is good in talk, but not inmaking it true".) we didn win now either! we kind of lost! we surrendered to the world, and didnt get our target! we have to kill chizballa. if we wont finish it now, soon we will have to fight becouse, "these no choise", this is a war we all, sometimes, have to face,
is a war everyone is willing to fight. but is harder to fight a war, EVEN if now they look armless.we have to fight a "fight the evil" war, or else come,
to a "these no choise", war... and then is going to be much, much harder...

The compulsory service soldiers didn't have any choice but to go there and fight, and the reserve duty soldiers didn't have a choice, either. This is your "100%". About the other people who enlisted, they didn't want to fight. They just figured out that this is an important thing to help to protect our country and families. P.S: If you ask me, the UN would be very, very happy to see us, jews, demolished.

Some harsh words being thrown around in this thread sweatdrop
I dont think the UN wishes to demolish jews...what would they have to gain by commiting genocide, which is of course against UN law stuffs
As for the poll, I believe a peace treaty would be a very good thing. I believe that losing a few soldiers is certainly worth it so that more dont get lost. Currently Im happy at what Ive been hearing, or should say not hearing, about the region. Im a little dissapointed at Frances contribution though, but what can you expect, their french...
