Nyoko murred at the kiss slightly and nodded "y...yes im fine, just thinking about something that is all" he said as he got up and dried his eyes "and yes, i know of that cafe, I have been there a few times with mom. He got up and shivered a little but ignored it "thank you for your concern" he saing sincerly, smiling a little at the angel "shall we get going?" He asked as ge waited for the other.

Val smiled faintly, winged ears folded against the sides of his head like earmuffs. Nestling more deeply into his cowl, he likewise folded his wings against his back. It hurt that Nyoko, as usual, was trying to be independent in all ways even if it meant his freezing for a few minutes longer. But therein lay the problem; they had both always hoped the other would change into something else, no matter how faint the change may be. With a silent sigh Val nodded. "Lead the way then."

Nyoko walked back and took holdof the angels hand and cuddled close to him as he walked towards the cafe. Nyoko knew that he shouldnt be like this, they had broken up, but the angel was right, he did try to be independent and was to an extent but around the angel, just like his mother and father, he ends up being that dependent 'child' again.
He wasnt like this around anyone else, he was as independent as the next person, especially for the fact he now had an angel dependent on him but he just liked being that little child again who needed to be dependent on others. Of course he knew it wasnt entierly a bad thing but still Nyoko did know he should stop being dependent on the angel and his parents as it wasnt good.
Ok a bit of dependancy wasnt bad just that in Nyokos case it was bad to an extent in Nyokos case but he just shruged it off, he would worry about it later. "It will be nice to get a hot drink into me, I havent been here for a while, it will be good to try their food again" he said to the angel as he softly sighed, pleased to be able to have this last moment with the angel till they meet up again somewhere down the line.

The angel nodded in agreement, smiling at the cabbit's touch. He did not bother to mention that Nyoko was also chilled and a hot drink would probably help ward off a virus. A dark wing wrapped around Nyoko's slender shoulder as they walked the rest of the way through the park, then down the street toward the cafe. Val released Nyoko and held open the door for him, his wing folding back once again as a rush of warm air and the sound of voices and silverware hit them like a friendly embrace.

Nyoko murred happily at the warm embrace of the angels wing and regretted that they had reached the cafe soon after, he smiled at the angel and nodded his head softly in thanks "thank you" he said as he entered. Nyoko looked around and the place and found that there were a few people around still, out late on dates or what not but he didnt mind and saw a booth at the back right hand corner "theres a booth over there we can use."
He said to the angel, thinking it would be good if they sat as far away from others as possible for the sake of the angel and started walking over, knowing there would be menus on the tables they could both look at.

Val followed Nyoko to the booth, thinking seats nearer the door would have been fine. He did not mind either way however. Likewise he did not mind waiting for Ny to sit down first, and only glanced at the menu for courtesy's sake. He smiled and waited patiently for Nyoko to choose what he would order. He already knew what he wanted.
