Thorn decided that to stay on the safe side, he would wait until the meal had been finished. Not only would the man have eaten all of the drug, he would be able to see the effects. Surely someone who ate such bland food, who grew used to food like this would be able to react properly?

No matter. At the silence, he ate his food, looking up occasionally to catch the man's eye, but nothing suspicious. Oh, not yet. He didn't want to give away his part of the game.

Funny how the mage accused him of making him drink, but was so clueless to the fact that the first night, it had taken more than alcohol. Thorn loved his job, because of the perks.

And the perks... well. He loved the perks because of the men and women involved.

"I met Ahneta a couple of days ago." he said, filling the silence. "She's an amazing woman." he smiled, briefly. "I do believe she's quite my type." he was teasing, of course.

Ahneta...

Well, he wouldn't need to protect her from Thorn. All she was looking for was money and sex...a fitting thing compared to Thorn. But it did bother him that the other man had found another reason to stick around the compound.

"Somehow, that doesn't surprise me."

Finishing up his food, Hadrian set his fork down beside the food. And he took note that he had begun feeling - strange. Different. He couldn't quite put his finger on what was different, but something was.

Thorn smiled. Getting up, he nodded his head and picked up his plate. It was half finished, but maybe later, he would sneak into Marc's apartment and go after proper food. In fact. The idea had him stand up, abrupt. Nodding.

Yes, he would do so now.

"Here." he reached for both their trays to put in the bin, looking down without batting an eyelid to see that the tray was empty. Good. He'd start now then. Comments, words.

"Hadrian." he said. "Can you come with me? I need to get something from Marc's apartment." his expression was amused. "I promise to leave after that." the apartment was safer, here. If he took the mage into somewhere foreign, somewhere with bad and good memories, hopefully that would be enough to make the mage more sensitive.

Thorn had, tried to drug. But at a very very small dosage. He didn't trust anyone to give over completely, but he knew the effects. Sensitivity in the four senses, in emotions, words. It would be... interesting.

"I'll leave." he said. "If you come with me."

Hadrian's brow creased as he considered this. His initial reaction was along the lines of thinking Thorn was insane. But...well, he didn't want Thorn sticking around up there and tormenting Marc.

"You're insane."

He just really hoped Marc really had left. At least then there wouldn't be the possibility of getting caught sneaking into his apartment with Thorn of all people...

With a sigh, he continued, "...I'll go. But only if we leave directly after you get what you need - and what is that, by the way?"

And didn't occur to him that normally, he would never do something like this with Thorn. He'd call him insane, and then lock him out when he left.

But...he never thought of that.

Thorn laughed. "Hadrian, darling." he said, nodding his head. "Of course I am." his look was one of bemused fascination as he got up. "Shall we, then?" At his next question however, the man hesitated.

There was something he could fetch. But really, the main purpose was to take the man into surroundings which should affect him more. "It's in the bedroom." he said, lying smoothly as he nodded his head. "Sentimental value, really." he arched a brow.

"Do you trust me then, to go in by myself? To the bedroom." he added. He gave him a look of amusement, of perversion, baiting the mage. Surely Hadrian wouldn't trust this man alone in Marc's bedroom?

Among his clothes, his bed, his sheets...

And whatever else he had in there?

Moving to the doors, he tucked the obedience away. This drug was useful...

The expression of dismay that crossed Hadrian's face was instantaneous, at hearing that Thorn was going to Marc's bedroom. His bedroom...he couldn't leave Thorn alone in there!

Knowing him, he'd do something perverted.

But. That room...it'd be painful just going back in there. Even just going back into the apartment would hurt. All of Marc's things...

So, clenching his jaw in an angry motion, he followed Thorn.

It didn't take long to climb the stairs. Deliberately Thorn walked ahead, leaving the man alone. The fresh air, the grit of the stair case under feet and the bar under the hands... would it unnerve him further, or not? Whatever the case, he quickly entered the code into the man's apartment, and stepped in.

There was no one here-- but Thorn had counted on that. And as he turned on the lights and switched on the aircon (the breeze would prove useful, as well as the cold.) he walked into the man's bedroom.

"If it hurts." he said. For surely it will. "If you don't want to think about the time you spent together, in each other's arms in the bed..." now would this cause the mage to think about the actions, or literally block them out, for tonight? Either way, Thorn was curious. "You don't need to come in with me."

He smiled, taunting the mage as he flicked on the lights.

As Hadrian hurried up the stairs, Thorn would be glad to know that his supposition was correct; it did unnerve him, unsettle him. Especially since they were going to Marc's apartment, a place that made him nervous to even approach, now.

As he entered, he wondered about the cold. He knew Marc liked to keep his apartment cool - but this was a lot colder then normal. Chilly.

As he followed Thorn into Marc's bedroom, it was a pale-faced mage that glanced at the bed. Damn Thorn for saying that - because it made him think of the things they had done together, and the fact that none of it was ever happening again.

That he was standing in Marc's bedroom only because the person who had ruined it all wanted to get something. Why had he even agreed to come?

Leaning against the wall, he lowered his head to stare at the ground, to wait for Thorn. The light seemed to bright, too harsh. Everything seemed like too much in this apartment; and since it just began to grow as he came here, it only occurred to the man that it was because this was Marc's home.

Thorn picked out something non descriptive. It was maybe a PDA, of sorts. It was a spare one Marc kept around, backlogging his files in his current PDA by a week in case of emergency. So Thorn picked it up, slipping it into his shirt pocket and walked over to see Hadrian standing there. At the ground. For a moment he didn't move, taking in the sight of what the drug could do.

Maybe Thorn should increase the street price. He was surprised the demand for it was so low. Or perhaps most people didn't get this sadistic pleasure out of using people.

Maybe.

"Hadrian." he pitched his voice at his normal note, not too loud in his own ears, but perhaps loud enough. He placed a hand on Hadrian's wrist, on naked skin rather than through material, to see how the man would react.

His movements were slow, calculated. Justified with the thought of observing any type of reaction. And so he said, as gently as possible.

"I'm sorry."

Did he mean it? Perhaps not. But maybe in this stage, Hadrian might believe him. Maybe.

It was a violent flinch that greeted Thorn's hand on his wrist, surprise at the flesh on flesh - at the sensations that seemed too strong for just that.

Thorn, sorry?

"Right."

A slight bit of scorn in his voice, betraying his doubt. But...there was something in him that said that it was true. That the other man definintly sounded sorry. Even if all his instincts in relation to the man were saying to not trust...

Hadrian looked away. He was too confused to try and figure out whether the man was telling the truth, or not.

Another hand went gently on the man's chin. Gently for Thorn, that is. He stayed apart, using only his wrist so that he could get the mage to stare at his eyes. Thorn was good at using the expression of guilt. But he knew, more than anything that words would affect him more. And sight. Things that looked brighter, darker, larger, closer.

So he didn't lean in. Not too much. He kept his distance, his hands gentle touches on the man's skin as he nodded his head. "I'm sorry I hurt you." he repeated.

And maybe it wasn't too much of a lie. If Thorn had taken it more slowly, would the mage have been more willing? If he had kept the hurt til last, would Thorn have been able to accomplish more?

Maybe.

This time, Hadrian believed him. It went against all his instincts and beliefs about Thorn - but there was something telling him the man was being honest, for once.

And the touch...it wasn't a flinch, but an unconcious shiver in reaction to that. It was so cold up here, and that touch - it was gentle enough, brief enough, that it was just a light carress that made his skin tingle.

And staring at Thorn - ...the man seemed so much more then usual. Something seemed different, better. He didn't know what, but there was something....

Color rushed into his cheeks as he realized he was staring, and he muttered something about how they should go back downstairs.

Thorn pretended that he couldn't here, couldn't understand what the man was saying. So instead, he moved to kiss him. Tentative, gentle. Hesitant. None of the force and fire he had shown before. Because he had to gauge how sensitive this man was. And having been caught staring...

Well, he wanted to ensure what he did would go uncontested, before he continued.

So Thorn kissed him, giving him every opportunity to move away by slackening his hold on the man's wrist and chin until it seemed to be mere decoration. He used lips, teeth, tongue, trying to pull in all the mage's senses down to one point.

His lips, of course. His mouth. His tonge. His teeth.

Because Thorn wasn't going to go easy this time. He wasn't planning on leaving with bruises or other marks on the flesh.

He planned to leave with words.

Hadrian's eyes went wide with shock as Thorn kissed him. It was...it was like nothing he'd ever felt before, everything else was forgotten at that sensation, those sensations...it was unconcious that he closed his eyes, leaning against the wall for support.

He almost couldn't think past those sensations, maddening and stunning as they were. The mage was metaphorically turning to jelly in Thorn's hands.

Until one little thought trickled in past the sensations, and his eyes snapped open as he pulled away in a hurry, to the side.

This was Marc's bedroom. He couldn't do this here!

And as he trembled, his eyes still wide from the shock of the sensations, he was wondering why he was even doing this. It was Thorn!

Thorn felt the man react, felt it, and knew a fraction of a second later when the man's eyes widened. He paused, not wanting to frown, not wanting to scare him away yet. Gentle. Thorn knew he had to be gentle until the mage gave in.

Then he could do what he wanted.

"Hadrian." he said, his voice husky, scratchy, one hand curled near Hadrian's ear against the wall. When had his hands moved? He couldn't remember. But he repeated the mage's name again.

"Hadrian." he whispered, trying to hold onto the man's eyes. He didn't seem to have not enjoyed the moment, and neither was he protested. "Do you want me?"

Do you? It was a rhetorical question that Thorn hoped would leak into the man's bones. To question, to comment, to nudge the corners of his mind until neither knew where answers were coming from.

Thorn hoped.
