Well, you make/buy your outfit with a mask to match it, I guess. It's up to the rpers what they want their character to wear, but they have to wear a mask and clothes.

I like this plan. Is it only the characters that need costumes..I don't have to dress up the AVI too do i?

I really enjoy this idea! However, I was thinking, I like the partner system and all.. but having only one date is boring.. I think that we should be issued dance cards with the names of random members of the opposite sex (3-5) and that way, even if one of you dates isn't on, or is RPing with someone else, you have other options.
And with every masquerade comes costume prizes, and I for one love dreaming up outfits and typing them into my RPs, A masquerade is a lovely idea. Plus it helps because your characters should not be able to identify their friends immediately, pushing them to talk to strangers.
Costumes are a great conversation piece as well, and masqurades can help all those shy people keep from being wallflowers, plus who knows? You may just meet a prince XD
Anyway, this is given Celeste's stamp of approval.. given a few changes.

You can dress up your avi if you want to,but you don't have to.
AndI've changed the Partnering System. Just find someone you haven't rped with before or you have but ot with a certain charrie of theirs. And of course there will be Cosume Prizes. I was thinking that maybe the Crew could be the judges. -nod nod-

At a masquerade, you don't know who your partner is. The random partnering up will allow you to interact with more members of Ria High.
BUT
I understand also some members want thier charcters to go together.
SO
I believe we should let people state if they want to be part of a random pairing system or want to rp their own characters "randomly" meeting up at the ball.

I think the idea of having random dance cards is an excellent idea, maybe even a post minimum interaction so no one can try to bail on still earning rp'ers. The only way they're going to get better is by practicing and by having really nifty opportunities rp fun things.

everyone would have to wear costumes. though hopefuly they are close to like the olden times, plus everythign is going to have to be completly like annonymouse no one can know who the people are, thats the point of a masquerade, where people are not themselves all is shrouded in secrecy. (sorry fro my rambling but im like addicted to like masquerades and all thats stuff)

I thought Masquerades were almost ballgown formalness. the way you're describing it, girls would wear poofy ballgowns and men in tuxitos. Actually, I like that idea better. Just like the Phantom of the Opera ballgowns. A costume party set back in the 1700's(clothing I mean). I'mma vintage person what can i say. xP
I like Celeste's idea too. Dance cards are so flippin fun!
