Kyrenx Aahz You live in Texas? Are you by the Bass Emporium? I wish, but I believe that is all the way out near Austin, sadly i'm an islander on the Gulf coast. Galveston Island to be exact. smile Awww. Sorry to hear that. I read about the Emporium in Bass Guitar and wondered about it.

Guitar center blows. They're much less personal than local privately owned shops, and a lot of times less knowledgable.

The guitar center i went to, they were VARY personal, in giveing suggestions, help, and even giveing me his home and cell numbers if i need any help. He also called me personly after 1 mounth after i got my strat, to see how its playing.

In my area, most of the people there are idiots.. with the first question they asked me once concerning the guitar i was looking for being "what color do you want?" neutral
I'm sorry, but color is the last option I look for after tone, overall construction and action.
Though there is actually one guy that works there who knows his stuff, and I usually only go on Tuesdays when he's there. smile

What's in your head ~
Only to look around. I was originally going to get my bass there, but their selection sucked...at least the one I went to. I ended up buying mine in the age-old process of ordering it off the internet. I prefer small, local shops anyway.
