Thursday August 10th, 2006
Got my very 1st Pokemon yesterday! I named him Charmer. I hope he ends up liking me. It must be hard adjusting to a new home. When I first saw him I picked him up and hugged him tightly. I know now to check where his tail is whenever I hold him. My coat is burned and completely ruined now....
My best friend Leon got his very 1st Pokemon today as well. I wonder if the two of our Pokemon could be friends? I think he obtained a Vulpix, but I'm not sure. We shall see whenever I go visit him tomorrow.
I'm so excited! I always dreamed of getting my own Pokemon, and now I have one! I cant wait to see what adventures my Charmer and I can find.

Havent been able to visit Leon yet but now I know for a fact that he has a pretty Vulpix. I remember people claiming he had hugged his new Pokemon far too long. That sure sounds like Leon ... Though I cant really say anything. -glares at her coat-
Charmer and I are sorta getting along. He loves to eat .. I hope I have enough funds to feed both of us. I haven't tried battling against other trainers, but Charmer and I do practice his attacks on small little dummies I made. I'm running out of dummies, but oh well. I don't want to rush him into a fight with another Pokemon so this seemed like the easiest way to help him train....

Through training with dummies alone I cant believe my Charmer grew two levels.
He is getting cocky now though ....
We took a walk to the park and had a small lunch. We watched Poliwags swim in the small pond near us. They looked really happy.
They also looked like they wanted our food.
We quickly ate then went home to watch a movie. Both of us needed that small break.

Woke up really late to Charmer trying to pull me out of bed ....
I was tired.
Maybe last nights movie was a little too long for my tastes....
Well I got up finally and fed Charmer his Poke Chow. We then decided to finally go and annoy Leon. Charmer ran over to Leon's Vulpix and stared at him for a while. He eventually pawed at him lightly and started talking to him. I'm hoping this was a good sign ... they wandered off and left me all alone with Leon.
Oh well ... we had a nice time talking together. Even if Leon kept wanting to run away and hug Foxx still ...

Today was..well.. a lazy day. I didn't actually accomplish much. Charmer stole my popcorn and ran off with it..
He went play with Foxx for a long while. Seems they might make good friends after all .
I really need to start training more. Then again, we are having fun either way.

I have had Charmer for a little over a week now. I hope he likes me as much as I like him. I am developing a habit of spoiling him actually.
He has as many Poke Dolls as his little heart desires.
I'm almost jealous....
He loves his Poke chow, the hearty chicken to be exact. He complains if he gets anything else. Luckily for me that brand is cheap.

Mmmm ... the joys of having only one Tv and a Pokemon who loves it.
I have forgotten what my shows are even like.
I dragged him away to go train though. As spoiled as he is he wont get away with just anything.

Well, Charmers friend Foxx is gone with his trainer on vacation. He seems kinda depressed ... I have been having fun with him though. We played a few games, watched tv, and just hung out. We even got a little bit if training done despite our deep wishes.

Charmer and I headed off to the next town. My mother forced us to go shop.
I swear... she is evil sometimes. Maybe this can be a good thing though ...
I took the opportunity to show Charmer around. It was his first time in a store ... teaching him that getting something requires payment is hard.

My mom isnt doing well .. Charmer and I went visit her. For some reason she is having trouble breathing. I hope she is alright ....
Charmer helped me pick some flowers for her. We put them in a vase and put them by her bedside ...
All plans for tomorrow .. my birthday.. are on hold. I wont leave her ...

Well ... my mom passed away on my birthday ...
Charmer cried along with me ... I will be taking him to the viewing and services. Mom was so proud that I had finally gotten my own Pokemon. I wish she could have stayed here ..
I feel pathetic. I have hardly accomplished anything since getting Charmer.
Unless you count ..him bring my best friend ever I guess.
Now....what? ....
I have no one. No mom and no dad. All I have is my little friend ..

Things havent gotten much better. Charmer awoke this morning to see my threatening to kill my computer. It.. died .. on me. I had to go get a rental because I can't really afford to actually buy one...
Moms burial was a few days ago. My brother came down and is still currently here. He offered to take me and Charmer back to his town ... and I said that I would like that. Visiting my friend Leon might be hard now ... but I will make sure to keep in touch.

Pokemon movers will help us get our stuff to my brothers house but... packing is evil.
Charmer is helping at least. We train still.. just.. not as much right now..

Well .. Charmer and I finally made it to our new home.
Im in pain. A Spinarak bit me.
