Tia watched him get up apprehensively, remembering the last time it'd been attempted. But somehow he managed, and the lioness let out a sigh of relief. If she could get him away from the odd fungus, get some food in him... agh, it was rather like being the babysitter to a giant, somewhat impaired blue cub.
"Come on, then," she coaxed, looking back at the other lion every few steps to make sure he was following. "Yes, fish, very comical, yes," she muttered, padding down the sloping path to the pool with the fish in it.

 How such an intoxicated creature managed to make his way through the tunnels was confounding, though he didn't do it very well. Between bouts of giggling, he kept tripping over his own paws and stumbling into the tunnel walls. It was amazing his nose wasn't in the dirt yet.
"I like fish."
He would certainly be feeling it in the morning, not only the 'hangover', but the bruises and scratches from his staggering as well. But for now, Ali didn't care, he was stoned and happy, he felt no pain and didn't have a care in the world.

Tiacapan shook her head. "You don't do this when you're patrolling, do you?" she asked rather weakly, imagining that Korvo would be none too pleased by that.
Turning the last bend into a wider cavern with a small rock pool, the lioness glanced back at Ali to make sure he was still on his paws. "Yes, that's nice," she replied absently, doubling back and attempting to steer him towards the pool. "Look, there's fish in there, see? Nice fish." She paused, then decided she'd rather he didn't get too close to the water in his state, and coughed. "Why don't I erm, catch one for you."
She dipped a paw into the pool and flipped a very surprised fish out onto the dirt at Ali's feet.

Ali had suddenly become very fascinated with his own paws and had been staring down at them when Tia spoke to him.
"Huh, don't do what on patrol?"
The words didn't seem to register as if he had no idea what she was talking about. What did she mean by this, and what was patrol? Distracted once again by the thought of fish, Ali pranced happily after Tia in a very akward gate.
"Fishy!"
Ali pounced at the fish like an exited child, trapping it between his paws, poking at it, and squeezing it's face together to make it perform his own version of the fishy face.
"Fishy...fishy, fishy, fishy...fishy, fishy face."

Shaking her head, Tia sighed. Well, he probably didn't do this too often, anyway, and she hadn't seen it happen before... surely he was smart enough to only do it every so often, by himself.
Sitting and watching Ali poke and prod the fish, she shook her head. "No, Ali...no, we don't do that to our food," she said, using the tone she might've used with a rather confused cub. "Fish, yes, we EAT fish." she explained slowly, miming eating by opening and closing her mouth a few times. "See? Eat."

Ali purred and rolled onto his back, grasping the fish between his paws, utterly fascinated with the fishy face. Unfortunately the for him, the fish was still alive, or maybe it was only nerve twitched that caused it to move. In any case, the fishes jaws somehow caught the lions paw and slammed shut on his toes.
The lion's pale eyed widened in surprise, a reaction that was followed by a pitiful whine, an angry growl, and the biting of the fish in half.
"Mean fishy...." T___T

Tia's eyes widened as the fish somehow managed to bite Ali. Ears folding as he whimpered, she leaned forward and tried to get a look at his paw.
"Yes, it was a mean fishy," she crooned, licking at the place where it bit him, gently. "But that's why you ought to eat food before it tries to eat you!" the red lioness added almost sternly, still rather caught up in treating him like an overgrown cub.

The blue lion purred as he hastily scarfed down the fish, partly because he really was incredibly hungry, one of the effects of being stoned, and partly to get back at it for biting him.
Now laying on his back, eyes staring straight up at the ceiling, his tail flicking about, Ali pondering the lioness' words.
"Eaten by a fish? Whoa...heavy..."
He looked as if he was contemplating some great secret of the universe, maybe to the intoxicated lion it was. As he laid there, bright colors passed before his eyes and he purred at each one of the halucinations. Hopefully there was no acid in those shrooms. o.o;;;
"Hey...as the ceiling always been this colorful? Psychodelic."

Tia sighed and shook her head. "Nevermind," she said softly, glad he was at least eating something. She watched him rather awkwardly, sitting primly next to him, tail curled around her forepaws.
"Ali?" she blinked at him, then craned her neck upwards to see what he was staring at. She looked back at him, eyebrow raised. "There's nothing on the ceiling, Ali.. o_O"
She flopped onto her back next to him and let out a yawn. All there was to it was to wait for the effects of the off fungus to wear off, she supposed...

Ali looked quite confused. As far as he could see, the ceiling was indeed brilliantly colorful, bursts of bright colors and rainbow stars filled his vission in a spectacular display of lights.
"Huh? Dude...you don't see it? There's some blue...and green...ooo, some yellow...I like yellow. Orange...red."
He pointed with his paw, indicating each color as it exploding on the ceiling before his eyes.
"No? bummer..."
He continued to watch the lights, that odd purr rumbling in his throat until he began to grow sleepy, a wide yawn parting his maw as he started up at the ceiling, his eyes growing heavy.

"No, I don't see it," Tia intoned with patience. She tried to imagine what he was seeing, and shook her head. Shiny colors, apparently. She supposed she was glad he was enjoying himself, of course, but she rather wished he'd rediscover his ability to hold an actual conversation soon.
Ears perking as she heard the purr deepen, the lioness leaned over and glanced at her friend. Good. If he went to sleep, maybe he'd be back to normal when he awoke. She let out a sigh of relief and closed her eyes, too, waiting for him to fall asleep.

He stared at the ceiling for some time, pawing at the lights, grinning as the colors seaped into the white of his paws. He was winding down, past the silly stages of his high and slipping into the sleepy stage.
Finally he could no longer keep his eyes open, and as they feel closed, he slipped off, the slow rythm of his breathing indicating that he had fallen asleep. What dreams came in that intoxicated sleep one would never know, but they were sure to be bright and colorful.
