Whoa, WHOA. sesshoumaruluv274 everybody is entitled to their own opinions. Not everyone who supports SasuSaku likes Sasuke or Sakura.
I ask that you not bash each other, please. Or I will have to lock this thread.

sesshoumaruluv274 AngelWarrior1100 erm I dont like Sasuke. Infact I hate him, I bet he's self-absorbed. I watch Naruto the show since my friends(they are all guys I am the ONLY girl there) were watching it. and its theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee moooooooooooooooooooost coooooooooooooooooooooooooolest shoooooooooooooooooooooooow EVVVVVVVVVVVVER! SWEET! Yeah, what those two said. Please be respectful toward other members. Believe it or not, there ARE some people here that hate Sasuke. [Or Sakura, or maybe even both.] You'll just have to live with it.
And you can't 'take him', either. None of you can. :/ He's not real.

I watched the first episode of Naruto when it aired on Toonami way back last September since a friend talked my into it. I watched up to the third episode, then just stopped. Then, around Christmas, I watched that 'Eight Hours of Naruto' marathon. Needless to say, I became.. hooked, obsessed.. I fell in love with the show. Eventually, I got myself caught up with both the anime and manga in Japan. Now, I'm not ashamed to call myself a Narutard.
As for Sasuke.. he was my favorite character from the start. I liked him from the very beginning, and now I just love him. His character.. everything about him I like. He has his flaws, but so does everyone else. Just like SasuSaku, I stand forever proud as a Sasuke fan.

*trying to remember why I got into Naruto* Ah, yes! So, it was Halloween of 2002 or so, I believe. One of my best friend's brothers was dressing up as Kakashi that night. Of course, I saw the foil kunai and shuriken and the funny costume and I was all "WTF is that?!" Yeah...I hated the idea of Naruto at first, only because back then I was very reluctant to try basically anything. Then, I read the first volume and got completely hooked. I started reading it online and now I'm a total Naruto junky and all my friends call me a nerd. xd I'm still proud of myself! sweatdrop
Moving on... xp At first I only liked Sasuke because he was sorta myterious or whatever and, yes, he's a bishie. But, then I decided to take it upon myself to look a little closer at his actual character. He's got a lot of complexity and he's super intelligent. He's caring at times and other times he's completely serious. I mean, to add to that, he's actually got a sense of humor burried in there! (See "You big chicken" for details. 3nodding ) I can tell I'm starting to ramble, so to cut it short, Sasuke's a complex character with a lot of border-line completely emo and goth personlaity traits. I'm not saying I like the idea of him being all dark and secluded and such, he's just...interesting...you know? xd sweatdrop xd

Sometimes when a person hates two characters, they pair them together. A perfect example is the SasuHina guild. The Captain hates both Sasuke and Hinata, yet she really likes the idea of the two as a couple.
Yeah.. it doesn't make much sense to me, either, but to each his own.

Honestly, I fell in love with SasuSaku first. My cousins in the province didn't have cable back then, so I was forced to watch the horrid dub of Naruto since there was no other anime on. The first scene I came upon was where Sakura (whose name I didn't know yet) was supporting Sasuke (same) as they entered the Tower in the Chuunin Exams. And then when Inner Sakura went "Damn, I wanted to hold him longer!" I kind of thought, "Are they paired?" since I was shopping around for a new OTP when I grew tired of my former OTP.
Anyway, I researched on them, and in turn, learned about the show, and when one of my classmates showed up with a complete set of the episodes, I borrowed them and burned myself copies... and watched everything in about a month... and started writing SasuSaku fics...
...and thus I was hooked.
As for Sasuke, I always thought he was cool, but then I started to see him for the lovable jerk he was. Mfft. Anyway, I don't like invincible!Sasuke, I like human!Sasuke, meaning I like him better when he's not being an arrogant a**.sesshoumaruluv274 then why'd they join this guild in the first place?

well how i got into naruto was when some kids in my school were talking about the show and manga. i never heard of it so i ask them whats it about. they tell me everything and so i got interested. i read the manga first online and then started to watch the anime and got addicted to it.
i like sasuke from the beginning it showed him. his attitude was different towards others. at first u think u should hate him but i didnt.
i started to like sasusaku when it showed the episode where naruto was pretending to be sasuke to kiss sakura (if u dont remember it was a early episode) at first i thought it was him and said 'oo he has a soft side he likes her' but then i saw it was naruto of course i said 'why couldnt it be u sasuke. why? o well it would happen.'
over the course of the show i started to get hooked from those 2 to be together. i got more into the show and the characters. and im soo happy that i am a fan 3nodding its such and addicting show and i would never get over it xd

My friend kept babbling on about this new anime called Naruto, and I was assuming that it was stupid becuase sometimes the shows she likes are, but I watched it and became completely obsessed!! xd
I like Sasuke because he's dark and cool!

I'm into the cold characters, so that may be why, I also think his past is really sad, but then who doesn't *glares at Sasuke haters*. I really like his character and it's hard to describe.
But I can thank my sister for getting me into Naruto. mrgreen Hi sasukescherryblossom!
