Yes, I really enjoyed YUU*GI*OU Online during the trial, but once it started for everyone, you were charged for duels, almost every duelist would just leave you if they were gonna lose, and people became a lot stupider. I gave up and decided to just stick with either dueling computers or in real life. XP Anyway, that Polymerization thing is cool. I'd love to be able to make a Flame Swordsman from a bunch of different card combos! :O

pixiestixryu Hm, well that does sound quite astounding. Now that the ds lite is out, the old ones might get cheaper so I'll consider saving up for one! Once again I buy a gaming platform to further my ygo obsession. ninja That's the same reason I just bought myself a PSP actually sweatdrop . I can't wait for the Yuugiou GX game to come out for it in November, it's going to be the best game out by far.
My all time favorite Yuugiou game is definitely NT, I agree with Kitsune that the two-screen system of the DS is perfect for Yuugiou games. They may as well have made it for that purpose. heart
I also loved stairway to the Destined Duel, and the GX GBA game is very good as well, I especially like that you have several options for your starting deck.

I got a ds for christmas and played nt for basically 48 hours straight!
xd aw, you guys were so right! I haven't been this addicted to a ygo game since my very first one. Double-screens are pimpage to the extreme!
my only complaint is that cool characters are so hard to hunt down. I hardly ever run into isis or kaiba!
while pharaoh is already a registered duelist. >.>; Him and espa roba fricken stalk me.

I was stalked by Anzu earlier in the game and now it seems to be Roba, Rebecca, and Ryuuzaki... Anzu is finally leaving me alone thank God. I noticed Kaiba and Isis were hard to find at first but now I'm finding I have an easier time with it. I'm trying to get Kaiba to have the "OMG I love you my bestest friend! whee " face on my duelist stat page because that would just be f***ing awsome. I've at least gotten him to have the "You're okay confused " face for me. biggrin

That little face feature is so hilarious. Everyone looks kind of neutral, then some happy smiles, a couple frowns, and then it get's to bandit keith's full-out scowl. But because it's a little face... It's just far more adorable then threatening. XD
Man, it's annoying when that guy jumps you though.
I noticed something weird...
when you take the train for the first time and you get to next city/district over and Kaiba makes his little tournament speech, didn't he say it would last for 2 more days? I swear it's been 6 days at the least since he said that.
So what characters have you wanted to kill half-way through this thing?
xd I have a considerable number on my list by now.

oh, and I had a question!
So I'm still a DS n00b and I was wondering how some of the features for it work. Like the mode where you get to fight other duelists. What's the range for that? I never seem to find anybody. I start a little room and just wait for an opponent forever. Is it the sorta thing where you get better reception in different rooms of your house? Because I've only tried in my bedroom and I notice I hardly get phone signals or wireless very well in that room either.
Is a DS anything like that or am I totally confused and confussing you too? xd
OR! Is it like a wireless connection, but you have to be like within a foot of your friend's ds & it's just that cheap kind of wireless play?
I could probably look this up in the info booklet if you're not following my incoherent ramble, but I seem to get better explinations put into a language I can understand when I ask questions here. =]

I'm proud of the fact that I managed to get Para to have that little nuetral face for me. :3 Dox still hates me though. And I know; Kaiba apparently doesn't understand the concept of calenders... ^^;; I got stuck after I started the second part of the tournament (have no idea what to do... I think it has something to do with Isis though... I've beaten her like 5000 times now...) so I just keep dueling people trying to get them to like me now. XD;; (I suppose registering them and getting deck recipes is important as well, but I'm mostly going for the little whee faces...) I think about 100 'dueling days' have gone by now since Kaiba said there was two days left... Oh, and the DS range isn't like internet or cell phones. ^^;; It's more like... game boy connections except without the cord... I think the minimum range is around ten or twenty feet... Sucks, I know. I've never found someone close enough by to interact with via DS. gonk

Nightmare Troubadour does not have the ability to connect with people outside your current vicinity. For that, you'll have to get Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Spirit Caller. This will be able to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi. If you don't have a broadband connection, you can buy a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector so that you are able to connect. This game will have cards not found in NT, but is a DS game, so you will be able to play the same way. Plus, you can customize your character. It's scheduled to be released today (Jan 2). I was going to get it today, but I had to go to college. My parents are going to buy it and mail it to me. Quick summary: NT only works with people you are with. Spirit Caller is better than NT and will allow you to play people from anywhere(as long as they can connect online). (You people better get SC so that we can duel!)

That sounds so awsome. I hadn't even heard of Spirit Caller yet! (probably 'cause I don't pay much attention to Genex...) I'll have to get it once I have money from all the Christmas spending... ^^

I want it sooooo bad, if nothing to show up this idiot on Gaia that assumes that his slaptogether deck is almighty. He thinks he has a Dark Magician deck when he only has 4 Dark Magician-related cards in his 50 card deck in Nightmare Troubadour.

ah, thanks for the explination guys! That kind of wirelessness is so boring. If you can only play with people in the same room, you might as well use a chord anyway. though I guess it's cool you don't have to buy that seperately... =/
Spirit Caller sounds awesome. (Now I wish I hadn't just blown all my x-mas money buying manga yesterday! xd ) I will totally get that game! ...eventually! But... it's a gx game? >_<
@ kitsune: I have the same deal with para and dox. One of them gives me an angry glare, but one of them turned neutral. I don't really get why seeing as we foiled both their evil plots.
I have another question:
Where's Tristan?

Kitsune, I know how you feel.
Pixie, I don't think Tristan appears in the game. As he says himself that he isn't a duelist, he wouldn't appear. Even in the old games, he was one of the easiest ones.
Maybe I should play my Nightmare Troubadour until Spirit Caller gets here...

That's so cruel! They never leave him out of the dueling games. =( Man, they even put Serenity in this one and she's a way more useless duelist than Tristan ever is.
"Let's complain!"

That's so unfair! ;_; I mean, I love that little wood-for-hair! Besides, the game is based more off the anime than the manga, and Tristen does duel in the anime. Shown at one point when it was revealed during Duelist Kingdom that he was building a deck and another point where he, Duke, and Serenity were dueling together and he was the one friggin' explaining the rules to the poor girl! I mean sure, he's only a basic duelist, but Serenity and Mokuba are even more basic, yet they're in the game... stare
