Not that those eyebrows aren't the coolest things in the show, though; I find myself a consistent fan of characters with odd eyebrows (see: Naruto characters Rock Lee and Might Guy). Lacus being Scandinavian... people who try to stick all the Gundams into one long timeline could have fun with that. As for Treize? I've always liked to think of him as being Austrian for some reason, though I agree that Nordic sounds more likely...

I had another random thought regarding a cause for a new war in GW. I mean, look at Preventer 5. The peace brought about by EW was bound to end. After all, EW’s main message is that the pattern of war, peace and revolution is constant. It kind of corroborates itself when it ends in peace and says that nothing else happened after that. I guess that’s why Preventer 5 came along. Besides, war brings progress and new technology as shown by Battlefield of Pacifists.
This is the scenario I see:
In Preventer 5, the Epyon de Talos wants to carry weapons so they hold Relena and her party guests hostage and threaten to blow up a nuclear bomb. Now why would they want that?
Here are the reasons I see:
The soldiers were probably MS pilots and have no other livelihood. Having no means to feed their families, they rebelled to bring weapons back.
Relena shut down the MS factories so she becomes the focal point of their revenge hence her party is attacked.
The MS factory owners may have ordered the rebellion since they lost their fortunes. MS factory workers who lost their jobs may also join the cause.
Now this is what I imagine will happen if the rescue is successful:
Relena and the others will probably have to go underground. They’ll probably have to masquerade as civilians.
They could also remain in the open and try to sweet talk the rebels into surrender but that will prove futile.
The rebels will create their own MS and Preventer will have a tough time fending them off without MS of their own. Relena might insist on fighting without MS until a massive disaster occurs. After the disaster, she might cave and the ESUN will finally have MS and maybe new Gundams.
Voila! New war! Too bad Sunrise and Bandai were so eager to end GW. There’s so much life left in the series. It’s such a waste...

They need to animate my fanfic, Codename Lightning. Not to sound egotistical, but I feel pretty good about it, considering a member of the US Wing cast has read it and said that it was possibly the best fanfic s/he ever read, and the most accurate representation of the cast in a fanfiction.
Besides, it's got a whole lot of original mobile suits, so they could pump out lots of model kits. After all, who wouldn't want a 1/100 Seraph Gundam with individually-movable feathers, a display base, and a 1/20 figure of Relena in the Gundam Team's black pilotsuit?

After all, who wouldn't want a 1/100 Seraph Gundam with individually-movable feathers,... Have any hand-drawn lineart by chance? I don't know how I feel about feathery wings on a Gundam though. Wing Zero Kai was a bit much for me.. Original Wing Zero FTW 3nodding

wow.. never really thought of any of these things... i usually just watch something and like it or not... if i like it i do some research on it... but now that i think about it... the way they are drawn make up questions in itself!

Gundamgirl861 that is awesome! you got a cast member of Gundam wing to read it? I hope they do animate it cause that would be cool! Well, my GF got to talk to one of the cast members and, when she mentioned fanfiction, s/he commented on a story where a Haro called Wu Fei a jackass. After a little while, she realized that the person in question had been reading MY story. ^_^;; That's when the compliments came. And honestly, I probably shouldn't have said that...the cast member asked me not to pass the information around too freely. S/he was afraid that if it was common knowledge that s/he read fanfics, s/he would get swamped by hundreds of fans who wanted personal approval. This person also said that they're pretty sick of a million people asking them to look at half-assed yaoi fics, so... EDIT: Since it was asked what Seraph looks like...  Note that I'm going to revamp it some in the near future.

I like Une's idea. AC deserves to be expanded upon to absurd degrees every bit as much as UC ever did. The problem is that they'll mostly work with what's popular in the home country, Japan, and UC and SEED are both more popular than Wing over there. Unless something happens that makes Wing popular in Japan, we'll probably have to settle for what we're getting.

I haven't gotten the chance to see UC yet, but AC seems so short in comparison... I think that with AC stressing that war, peace and evolution are in a circle, if they came out with a second people would expect more and more, and sooner or later the quality would degrade. I mean, if SEED Destiny didn't exemplify that enough, I don't know what will. Though I hope that that was just that particular team's problem...
And yes, Wing isn't as popular in Japan, so it's less likely they'd expand on it.

I'd be so happy if they did. But you know, we in the States are starting to have more say in what goes on in Japan. It was the fandom in the U.S. that spurned the creators of Big O to continue the series. Has anyone else heard about that?
