"I'll tell you what I wish for you to do," He said, appearing behind Sano with his hand on his head and a big grin on his face. "I want you to swim across that river," he said pointing at the placid stream. "It may sound easy, but this river has a nasty current underneath the surface. We'll see how fast you guys can get across," he told them, walking over to to the edge. "Leave your packs over here, for now," he instructed them. "Good Luck!"

"Alright! I can do this, easy as pie!" she said, setting her pack down next to sensei and then began to lower herself into the water. "Its freezing!" Aya complained as the water instantly leveled up to her chin. She didn't imagine the river to be this deep. The current Koro-sensei had warned them about was pretty strong. Aya could feel it try to sweep her feet away. She was determined to be stronger than it, and slowly began to get across.

This end of the stream seemed pretty easy, but she was sure once she got to the middle it would be pretty tough. Constantly, she kept her feet kicking her forward and arms to keep her afloat. Eventhough the water was cold as ice, she kept her body moving to keep her warm. Maybe sensei had put up a fire at the other side for them. That would be real nice when she got out.

The middle of the river wasn't as hard as she thought. Aya had to keep her momentum going now or else she would get stuck. As the strength of the current whipped around her feet, she kept her arms moving and head above the water. This wasn't tiring her out at all.

As her arm reached out for the other side, Aya began to pull herself out. "Ha! That wasn't hard at all!" she said, just a little out of breath. Although, she was freezing now. Goosebumps began to form on her arms and legs. It was warming in the water than on shore. "Sensei? Do we have a blanket???" she asked rubbing her arms up and down as she waited for the others to get across.

"That was pretty fast, Aya," he told her, walking across the water. He had mastered his chakra control and made it over easily. "You swim like a fish," he told her, pulling out a blanket from his pack. "I'll start a fire for you guys," he said, as he went off into the forest. He didn't go too far, in case one of the students were to go under, but he was pretty confident that no one would.

[If your score turns out to be a negative after the dice roll, you'll be caught by the current and pulled under. If that happens, you'll have to start over from the beginning. 0 is counted as a negative.]

Izuki walked up to the water, "why don't we just learn to walk across it?" he asked inquisitivly while taking off his pack. "owell, Here it goes" He said attempting to dive into the water, it ended up being the least graceful belly flop seen. After he splashed his pack and hurt his abs Izuki began to cross the stream.I hope it doesn't get worse the farther I go

Struggling to keep his head above the water, peddled his way twards the bank. He then grabbed hold and waited for the pain in his abs to go away. He then huged the bank and kicked off with a might heave of his legs. This will give me a little boost to cross the stream ^_^

That help out substantially. Lets keep this momentum going! Izuki pushed himself hoping to live up to his clan name. I have to keep pushing He brought his head up above the water, took in a deep breath and submerged himself. Izuki preffered swimming under the surface for a few reasons, most of them weren't too important though. Holding his breath he kicked hard and calmly brought his arms around in circular motions to bring himself closer to the other side.

The current grabbed ahold of Izuki and he panicked. He surfaced to see exactly where he was, which way he was going, and how far away he was from his goal. He then mustered up some more strength and went forwards to the bank hoping to get closer.

Izuki begining to scramble, tried the surface approach. It was his least favorite way to swim but the undercurrent was too much for him. Maybe he would try to be like one of the lizards that would just run atop of the water at high speeds! I could do that! Izuki then started to 'swim' in a way that looked to a fish flopping on dry land. I can already tell I'm getting closer

He loved this way of swimming, he felt he was getting more of a workout, and it was working better than his submerged swimming, although this wasn't stealthiest way to swim. He continued to flop around as he was getting closer to the bank of the river.

After hitting his head on a rock he realized he was sinking and was losing orientation. He began standard lap swimming and he felt like he could nearly reach out and touch the bank of the river. This is what he hoped to do with his rapidly depleating strength.

Failing to move forward even an inch, Izuki tried to cheat by seeing if he could touch the ground. Realizing that he could touch he was tempted to cheat, but instead he thought of the clan integrity I have to do this for them Izuki always had wanted to impress his father in any way, and in as many ways as possible. If he proved to be a model clan name student he would be happy, or so Izuki always thought. "water can't beat me!" Izuki screamed out as he burnt the last of his strength.
