"You should, in the future," Chachili grinned from ear to ear, "Find a nice female wild dog and raise a family, I mean. You seem the type that would do something like that."

But Chachili didn't mention the topic again. It was, as Koin had said, a 'touchy subject', and Chachili felt that there was no need to bring it up again.

Finally, she became more familiar with her surroundings. Chachili knew where she was.

"The water-hole!" she announced, and then looked to Koin, "Thanks for the company. I'll most likely stay here for a few days, myself, and get some extra rest. Not much hunting activity really goes on here, which is nice for me. What about you, Koin? Where are you off to next?"

It was a shame... the parting moment of the two friends was now swiftly approaching. Chachili felt a little lonely. She had enjoyed Koin's company immensely.

"Really now," he said, tilting his head. You never know. He might make a good father.

"No problem," he said. "Id don't really know where I'm off to next..." he said, tilting his head a bit again. "Maybe I'll follow the wind and meet up with you again..." he said.

"But then again... I do have something to prove to you..." he said.

"Prove to me?" Chachili asked, eyebrows raised in a confused manner, "Ah! That's right..."

She grinned, looking over at the birds around the water-hole. They were up, awake and would be a challenging catch.

"Well, I guess it's time for you to show me your stuff, dog," Chachili nodded, then trotted off to find someplace cool to watch Koin. She assumed he was talking about 'hunting'. Maybe he wasn't.

All Chachili knew was that this could be a grand finale.

"Yes, That's right," he said with a nod.

He started into a paced rot towards a group of birds. The trot soon turned into a full out run. The birds spotted him and started to fly. He spung from the ground and caught a bird in his mouth.

He landed on his feet, though he did stumble of a bit.

Chachili's eyes widened. She leant forward, watching the spectacle with great interest. Koin's jump had been brilliant.

He'd gotten the timing oh-so-right, and Chachili was impressed. That bird was a goner.

"Whoah," Chachili grinned, trotting up to the wild dog, "I'm sure glad that you don't hunt klipspringers, Koin."

She looked up at the sky. Day. The sun was climbing higher now.
Chachili suddenly felt a little sad. Would they part?

His tail wagged lightly. "It took a lot of practice..." he said triumphtly.

He looked up at the sky as well. "Hmmm...." he said.

"Well, it was worth the practice in the end, then," Chachili gave Koin a smile, "Because you sure are a pretty awesome hunter. Not that I've been around to see others hunting, but..."

She dipped her head, respectfully.

"The sun has climbed higher, Koin," she said, looking to the sky, "And I fear I must be off. I'll be staying at the water-hole, as I said, for a few days, but nothing more, I fear. Too, I'll be resting in the long grasses, over by that tree," she gestured to a tree not too far off, "And it is not at all fit for wild dogs. The grass blades are long, and conceal us prey animals. But there are snakes and scorpions that lie in wait for those with softer paws..."

And Koin had those softer paws. Chachili looked down to her hooves. Were they a blessing, or a curse? She didn't really know. All she knew was that she needed to get under cover quickly... predators would soon come to the water-hole for a drink, and although the place was usually safe, Chachili still wanted to be cautious.

She didn't think Koin, however brave, could take on so many felines.

Sighing again, she gave Koin a sad smile.

"Thankyou for sticking by me. I haven't depended on anyone for a long time. I'd almost forgotten how it felt... and it was a nice, warm feeling. To be protected, I mean," she blushed again, "Thanks a lot, wild dog. Thankyou."

It meant so much to Chachili. Why did she have to let it go?

"Let us meet again, then," she said gruffly, then bounded off. As she headed towards the grass, Chachili couldn't help herself.

She looked back.

Then, she tore away off into the grass.

(( Thanks for the RP! xD I hope it's okay if I wrapped it up like this, again. Thankyou, Seaki! x3 RPing with you is awesome! <3 ))

Koin nodded and walked into the direction of the wind, travel calling the wild down, once again. "I'm glad to have meet a friend like you," he said before he dissapeared.

((T'was fun. We sould RP again some time :3))
