Janice looked at him confused. She had never met anyone as quite as this man. “Albert is Albert. No changin’ that.” She said pulling the pocket knife from her pocket. She then looked at the fish trying to remember how she was told to flay it but she could remember.
“I forgot.” She said a little put out.

His eyes widend. 'SHE HAS A KNIFE!' he thought. He started to sweat. "Uhh...." He sat up and looked at her as she was trying to flay it. "Uhh, here." he said holding out his hands for the knife. He didn't want her to cut herself as well as maybe fight him. He just wanted the knife out of her hands. So he just stood and looked at her. Still blushing a bit.

Janice looked at him. It took a wile before she knew what it was that the man wanted. Closing the knife she handed it to him. To her he was the superior officer on the island and there for obeyed. “I’m sorry.” She said not knowing what else to say.

He was glad to get that knife away from her. He just didn't want her to have it and cut herself or him. So he put the knife in his pocket and said, "It's okay." He wanted nothing else but to ask her why she carried that doll around. Finally he asked, "Why do you carry that plush around with you everywhere. Isn't it a little worn out?"

Janice looked at Albert. She had him for as long as the eight year old could remember. He was missing an arm as well as had an X stitched eye. Along with many other patches and stitched up places. It was the first time she showed a little bit of sadness, because it made her think about who gave it to. “My daddy gave me Albert…” She said unable to look at the man. “He doesn’t live any more,” She added. Janice knew both her parents where dead and how they died, which was why she loved her dad but not her mom. Sense they died differently.

Justin looked at her and sighed. "I'm sorry about that." he said. He hates it when he brings up things like that. He seems to always do that. He looked down at the girl and said, "I really am sorry."

Janice looked up at him smiling. “Daddy wouldn’t be. He was doing….. what was it?...” She asked blinking. “It’s where he was helping people. Oh yeah, Firefighting.” She said remembering the word. Then she grew hollow. “But Mommy did it to herself.” She sounded spiteful to her mother and not to he father.

“Daddy died firefighting and my…mother… Went,” She made a Koo-Koo sign. “and killed herself. Albert is my Best Friend…My Only real friend…” She said hugging Albert. She’s meet people before and heard their stories but then they would leave and never again would she see them. Captain was her only family but he was different from a friend.

"I'm sorry...wait...if your parents are dead than how did you get to the island?" he asked kind of bluntly. There had to be a reason she had gotten to the island. 'I doubt she swam all the way here...' he thought to himself.

Janice looked at him and blinked. “I live on the Golden Star with Caption.” She answered not understanding why he was asking but didn’t mind either way.

“He’s My Grandfather, but I can’t call him that. He’s been takin’ care of me and Albert since I was Five.” Janice answered.

"Really now?" Justin replied. "Where is he by the way? Do you know?" Justin felt a sudden hunger fall over him. His stomach started to growl and he hated when it did. He looked over to the water and saw a fish. "Wait! Do you think you could catch that other fish. It looks HUGE!" Justin screamed.

Janice smiled and nodded. She picked up the poll and headed down to the water casting her line waiting for the fish to bite. After a wile or so she felt the tug on which she had been waiting for and started to reel in the fish.
