Been a while since I last came, did I? Anyways, back to the topic!

I'm Shade-Water and I'm pretty good in both Enlgish and French (I'm french myself), I rock in maths and computers as well.

But, History, when there are too much numbers get me all mixed up, and physics and chemistery kills me, spanish as well.

I'm kind of a mixed up person, heh?

"Now, I'm a Shade-Earth, and I'm decent in English, French, and Spanish, as well as History, Chemistry, and Physics... but when it comes to Math... I happen to think that Math is the most heinous of evils to ever villify something already so villainous they couldn't even come up with a more vile word than vile to describe the absolute depths of its villainy to the non-vile public!"

"... Chris? Is that you?"

Sage Ciara
Theory:

i think ice elementa need to be more concrete, what i can gather most ice elementas tend to have interest in science and calculations but do not care much for literature type topics and i think english is more on the abstract side...

water elementa seem to be on the creative side, Dana C Scott an ice-water balanced elementa mentioned she likes languages and music, i myself want to learn many languages plus i play the piano and clarinet plus my interest in philosophy, and if its true that ice is concrete and technical, it has to be water that is responsible for these creative interests

well just my theory anyway

~nods~ Agreed. Don't like English and writing essays at all. Hmm... it seems like my Ice-iness makes me want to see things as exactly as possible, and the Water calls out for practicalty - movement. Concrete subjects like science only half make sense without a demonstration of the concept.

Not sure what I'm best in, it generally follows my mood.
Sometimes I can write essays brilliantly and get high points.. but others I couldn't be bothered and sort of prattle on until the bell rings. Some days I understand the equations and whatnot, otherdays its all Greek.
All the time, at least, I can draw/paint/create. Never fails. Its the acedemic subjects I have the problem with, haha.
-dances-

I'd say leaning more towards English as I can write essays for the SAT/ACT easier than I can solve the trig problems.

Where does that put me?
I am a gravity leaning heavily towards fluid.

I prefer Art over most subjects but I've branched out to things like CG and Animation which are basically different sub-groups of art.

Hmm... I hope it doesn't sound arrogant but I can do well in pretty much anything I put myself to, except I think I prefer art, english literature and languages. I'm also pretty good with science, but more biology and chemistry rather than physics. In fact, four subjects I have chosen next year are: french, biology, english literature and art 3nodding . Fire Lightning

I'm not sure if it is a subject specific thing as much as it is a teaching/learning style thing, i'm pretty confident that i can learn anything that i can see a sensible pattern in and i often draw on stored patterns to learn new things.

I excelled at physics and chemistry back in the day, i dropped biology because i didn't understand why i got low marks for my stuff and thought the teacher just marked me harder. I can learn math only if i have access to all of the answers and the pattern/method is intuitively scalable. I also excel at programming but it took me a long time to be able to write a program on paper with minimum errors.

The only social science i can stand is psychology, something in accounts seems backwards and i liked law up to the point where i got to argue the philosophy of something but disliked the having to remember and cite cases since i tend to interpret information before i form a memory so i suck at citing and crediting sources.

I love argumentative writing in English Language and i've always had an interest in learning more languages spoken and programming. Finally i like practical work but hate the write up, so i like drama class since its mostly "practical" and seldom written.
