I tend to palm mute between almost every chord, or playing harmonics very randomly with my entire palm.

well if it makes you happy do as you will but if it sounds really bad what you've changed it into than i'd probably try sticking to the origional version.

Quickly switch which side of the pick I'm using while playing. Depending on which pick I use it can fall out of my hand.

creecher08 i have a habit of tipping my guitar vertical on high strings (like while soloing) and it kinda looks like slash from guns N roses so i don't really mind lol I do that with my Mockingbird. I played a solo and one of my friends took a picture and they told me to put on a top hat so they could take a picture and see how much I cna look like Slash. Problem is my Mockingbird has EMGs instea dof Seymor Duncans XD

I tend to grip my pick very close to the tip, which gives me excellent control whilst playing fast, especially when I'm playing heavy stuff (metal), but it causes my fingernal to hit the strings before the pick, which kills my tone and makes my playing sound much sloppier than usual. I also only improvise in the minor pent mode, which is less of an annoying habit than it is me just being lazyand not learning anything else.

With me, it isn't so much about not learning other scales, but benig able to use other scales well in certain keys.

the faster i play the harder i squeeze my pick, i use the blue torex ones, and the heat from my hand goes into the pick and it permenently bends around the point im holding my pick.

I play my bass blind folded....it helps me learn where the frets are without looking.
