Hem Kahn Amseflu Is this the place to talk about Industrial too? It's in the subgenres but I see Industrial as it's own genre.. It is it's own genre, but there is a metal sub-genre, industrial metal. Industrial metal and industrial aren't the same. For example, Fear Factory are Industrial metal and KMFDM and Rammstein are Industrial. Industrial metal is industrial and experimental sounds with electronics with a metal song structure. Thanks for makin that clear! biggrin Then I would like to request a Industrial Sticky 3nodding

thechong_martin i listen to all metal except for nu-metal and anything even close to industrial... im looking for some prog metal suggestions.... Well, you listen to practically all metal then as nu-metal isn't metal. xp Anyway, if you can find any of their music and havn't heard them already, try Madsword. They are a pretty good progressive metal band.

Eddily Frozen_Shock well then, no one has started talking about the actualy BANDS yet, just the types of metal. So why dont i start. Lacuna Coil, awesome metal band from italy, not too popular yet but theyre getting there. "swamped" was their first song i head of their and remains my fav. as well as "heaven's a lie" and "humane" I "own" the Resident Evil Apacalypse soundtrack, of which Swamped is on it. I like it. My friend has some stuff of theirs, so I'm sure he can get me further into them. smile O.O swamped is on the RE apocalypse soundtrack? Luv that song, and apocalypse looks awesome, i havent got to see it yet, i want to real soon tho.....great another cd i must buy xp

Metal is my favourite Genre.
Top five sub-genres-
Heavy Metal- Judas Priest, Mercyful Fate etc Power Metal- Falconer, Iced Earth etc Melodeath- Dark Tranquility, Raise Hell etc Prog- Dream Theatre, Fates Warning etc
and er...... I don't like many other Genres all that much. Unless you count Speed as a genre, then that would be my favourite under Power.
But yeah metal pwnz \m/
