"Alright alright already... I'll deliver this..."

Said the Seal Girl Unmei as Morgan nagged her from her perch on Unmei's shoulder.

"I can't believe you didn't delivery these before. Shiro asked you to do this like weeks ago, before he went to the camping trip."

Unmei signed as she lugged the bag with the gifts inside.

"Well.. I'm doing ti now.. so you can quite badgering."

Morgan shook her finger at the impatient Seal girl.

"Tisk tisk... you still have more houses to go..."

Unmei sighed, placing the gift at the right house. Then she hicked the bag up and headed off to the next house.

Eamane sighed and looked around her dust covered attic "i know its up here somewhere" she muttered in a discouraged voice as she took a mental inventory of the number of boxes she was going to have to look through. 28. It was going to be a long day!

It didnt actually take all day..only 4 hours but she was triumphant! At last the elf pulled out the box labled high chair and opened it...to reveal the pieces all unassembled. "AZ!" she yelled trying to keep the anger out of her voice, but the look on her husbands face when he ran up the stairs told her she hadnt quite succeeded.

"yes mela?"

"did you do this" she pointed to the highchair pieces

Az sighed and picked the box up "I'll fix it" he promised kissing her cheek.

Eamane hummed under her breath as she slid the paintroller covered in yellow paint over the walls of the only empty room left in the house. She'd gone shopping the day before for paint and bedding and all the other fun stuff. She'd had Az put the crib together the night before and it stood in the center of the room waiting to be made up with the snowy bedding still in the plastic packaging stashed in her own bedroom.

There was a smaller can of green paint on the floor nearby as well, for the vines she planned to paint along the top of the walls as a border. And piled beside that was a number of oak shelves the same colour as the crib to be hung on a wall for all sorts of odds and ends..and books lots and lots of books!

When she finnished painting the elf sat down with her sewing to make curtains as the paint dried. A light white cotton bordered by green vines.

Finally it was done! Stepping back Eamane surveyed her work. The light poured through the large window on the south side of the room, the curtains tied back. The bright yellow walls trimmed with green were pleasant and accent the light oak shelves and crib nicely. The shelves were already filled with stuffed animals and books...mostly handme downs but a few new. The elf had gone shopping...again...and bought two new books. One about butterflys she found them fasinating creatures, going from little bug to beatutiful..well bug... and another also about butterflies, sort of. The Hungry Little Catipillar. It hd been on of her favorites as a child and hopefully Kumiko would love it too

"and we're home!" Eamane sighed shrugging her bags onto the ground carefully holding the tiny girl in her arm. It had certainly been an interesting trip! The tiny elf shifted Kumiko slightly and then carried her into the bedroom she'd perpared before they'd left. Good thing she had too.

Eamane gently lay the baby down with a experienced ease and watched for awhile as she slept. She was adorable...which most likely bespoke of a temper ^-^ but the elf would worry about that later, for now it was enough to sit and gaze at the face of her new daughter

Eamane swung 'miko up over her head, delighting in the little girls giggles. Her baby had grown so quickly...almost to fast to document. In only one short week she'd mastered, alright attempted walking and said her very first word! Unlike Gael, Kumiko said mama. Much more personal than pretty.

Placing the little girl down by her toy box Eamane turned away for a moment to pick up the small butterfly toys and her daughters favorite ball, Christmas presents from other parents and the butterfly girl loved them.

Kumiko watched her mother for a few minutes and then began in intense inspection of her toes, babbling incomprehensibly to herself. Unfortunately that grew boring before to long and the baby looked for other amusements. Spying a small book she staggered to her feet and tottered over to it. She opened the pages and ran her fingers over the glossy pictures of an enchanted garden. She looked at her mother and then back at the book.

Noticing the lack of noise the tiny elf looked over and noticed her daughter. "What have you got there?" she asked curiously peering over the baby's shoulder.

'miko giggled "Pwitty!...'mio wan" she said in her baby talk pointing to the picture.

Eamane raised an eyebrow.

"Peas"

Eamane laughed and gathered up her daughter and the book. "Alright mela, we'll plant a garden. Lets go shopping."

Kumiko sighed as she looked over the flowers in her garden, she was bored again. Momma was busy with the baby and Poppa was working and Gael...well she didn't actually know where Gael was.

As if the girls thoughts had called her Gael appeared at the back door. She smiled and wandered over carrying her purse and car keys. "hey kid, feel like going with me to run errands?" The blonde vamp grinned cheerfully revealing her fangs. "And then we'll go meet Marcus for dinner...he needs to get out of the apartment for a bit."

Kumiko's grin mirrored her sisters as she rose up on her legs, "really?...momma wwont mind?"

Gael shook her head, which enticed a happy sqeak out of the catapillar girl. An adventure!
