I have a character sheet finished, Anthro tiger swashbuckler. ((Yeah, about as noob as ya get, until you consider I gave him a melee attack with Autofire and an 8 Combat value.))

You can post it in Sheets thread and I'll check it out mrgreen

Hmm.. Attribute limits, eh?

Superman could fly against the spin of the planet and reverse time... but none of you can xp

I'm thinking 80 sounds like a good max damage... not that anyone has to go that high, unless someone has a really good reason why should be able to do more.

I don't cap how many points can go to stats and attributes, so you can make a super-stat character with fewer attribs or a gageteer with lower stats, or in some other combination.

I do use ammo rules, so account for that when making weapon attacks with personl gear and such.

I don't know how much I like that Telekinesis (Carbon) thing, but you could also use Telekinesis (Magnetic only) and whip sharp objects throughout an area like Magneto... and Telekinesis (Fire) and use a match to torch a room full of enemies (if you aren't already on fire), and Telekinesis (Water) to suck all the moisture out of your enemies... I wonder what Attributes cover Ice Man's frozen path and ice attacks... or just take a high level of full Telekinesis and toss everyone around...

Frozen path I would take as a 'Magic' ability, take 1 level of magic, and then make it Speed and possibly flight.

The ice attacks are easy: Short Range Weapon Attacks that require energy.

As for my Anthro, I'll post him up.

He looks pretty kickass. I'm on the fence about Auren's Mecha, they are pretty Super though. 3nodding

Aww...

No Hellfire Laser-Guided Anti-Tank Missiles for me...? I have the connections...

And do you *really* want me to drop my laser to 90 damage for it to go straight through force-fields as well? I mean... 90 damage is not something you can sneeze at.

Well, if Auren is supplied by the Army then I don't see a problem. Owned By A MegaCorp covers the Ammo requirement. I also think that access to military-grade weaponry is a pretty good excuse for having high attacks Attributes.

Actually, I used Orgainzational Ties level 3. Its just easier that way.

*peeks around, considering making Megan in BESM format*
All my usual BESM characters wouldn't fit, since Eric is just a guntoting badass and Neko-chan is a magical catgirl. razz

They may need some edits to fit into a Modern game, but I don't see why a gun-toting badass or Magical Catgirl wouldn't make good Super Heroes.

Megan makes a better modern style superhero, considering that I first played her in a Marvel game.

Hey BOWP, what's the skill set for this campaign?

I think the Modern Military skill set would work best, since Super Heroes are usually pretty good with guns (or energy blasts or whatever) and fist-fighting.

Besides the Dx book that you directed us to, what other books do you use? I have the second edition core book and several extras, including hot rods and gun bunnies.

Eh... If you look at JSUC-2985 Recovery Drone "Durandal"

He has an ACV of 12... with an Autofire weapon that smashes for 72 a hit... and goes through all armor and force-fields... for a measely 21 energy.

21 energy? I thought the Weapon Attack skill went in multiples of 5?
15, plus what you get for upgrades with the Item of power, and even more so with th BESM Dungeon upgrade Making of D&D +2 bonus to a weapon's damage for using an upgrade to modify.

What Item of Power...? Wrong thread man. The entirety of that damage is all on his Mecha alone.

By the way, BOWP. I figured out who I am using...

Durandal "Sytalos" Collins. A Dragon who's wanted and is hiding out in this dimension. He's got minions! He's got free equipment! He's a Dragon!
