*Stepping backwards would only make the dropkick easier for Lita, giving her more room to work with as she is now able to take a bit of a running start to add to her momentum.*

*Lita nails the top turnbuckle with the soles of her combat boots before falling to the mat. She uses her arms to break her fall, injuring her wrists slightly. Lita pushes herself off of the canvus and backs up into the center of the ring, watching her opponent.*

*All Lita can do is cover her head with arms to block out a bit of the pain as Mickie rams her legs into Lita's "sheild". She rolls over a little bit from the impact, trying to keep herself from blacking out momentarily.*

*Lita brings her knee up a little too quickly as she attempts to block the kick, and she falls backwards again, struggling to stand.*

*Halfway to her feet, Lita collapses again, just barely avoiding another head shot. Its more chance than skill. She crawls backwards a little bit, then finally stands again, looking a little more confident this time.*

*When Mickie retains her balance, Lita is there to meet her, standing directly in front of her and staring her down. She suddenly brings up both her hands and goes to close them tightly around the throat of the womens champion, trying to strangle her. If this is the case, the ref would quickly intervene, pulling Lita back before she ends up disqualifying herself.*
