Name: Sarah
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Location: PA
Style if one is studied: Wado Ryu
Rank: Black Belt
Your interest in Martial arts: I love everything about it. I especially like learning the releases (how to get out of things like wrist grabs, chokes, bear hugs, etc.)
Anything else you would like to add: I was in gymnastics in preschool and kindergarden, but I quit because we had to do push-ups. xd I wanted to take martial arts classes ever since then, but my mom kept making stupid excuses not to put me in one. But I kept bugging her. When I was in third grade, my friend's dad was talking to my mom and he knew of a guy that taught a martial arts class. So I joined. I still remember that first class like it was yesterday. I feel really old now.

Name- Marshall (hehe)
Age- 18
Location- Montana
Style- Muay Thai, Jkd, Tae Kwon Do, ya know what...I'll just say Muay Thai as a core, and everything else just developed around that. I don't go to schools much.
Rank- The highest I've ever gotten was a Blue Belt in Tkd/Muay Thai/Aikido which was 2 belts away from black in my school. We tried to train equally in a lot of different arts, so when we attained one rank, we attained it in all the arts we studied.
Interest in Martial arts- Making the world a better place, for myself and everyone else. Martial arts give me confidence, peace, health and well being (of all kinds) and have improved my life in every way conceivable. I wish to expand my knowledge and become the best person I can be, so I can hopefully be a role model to future generations. Kids need something with real values to look to, and what better to do so than martial arts?

Name: Derek Age: 18 Gender: male Location: scotland Style if one is studied: in past freestyle karate and boxing, am joining a shotokan karate dojo and possibly judo one in few months once i move. i have read a few books, and learned from them Rank: yellow in freestyle Your interest in Martial arts: my father was into karate/judo and a bit of juijutsu when he was young, he took it cos in his neighbour hood he needed it, i decided to follow in his footsteps. i took it up cos i knew eventually i would need to fight or help out a friend(i was right) Anything else you would like to add: the reason i no longer go to boxing is i dont believe in set styles. i feel following a style leads to too many limits. boxing limited me to knuckles. i am takin karate/judo up north for the sparring more than anything else.

Name: Lawrence Age: 25 Gender: Male Location: Toronto, Canada Style if one is studied: Tae Kwan Do, Judo, and Weng Chun Rank: White in all three (I had no sence of diccipline in high school) Your interest in Martial arts: I love the honor, history, and tradiction of many maritial arts, as well as the exotic weapons some of them use. I tried to learn them when I was younger, but by the time I found an art I liked, I left high school and couldn't afford lessons till now. I wish to either restart my Weng Chun training again, or find another art I might like. Anything else you would like to add: I'm more interested in internal arts than external ones, and would prefer one with weapons training. The art it's self dosn't have to be asian, just interesting.
