Santos' ears perked forward at the female roar from the borders. "It's Naida," He told Adia. He motioned for her to come with him, picked nimbus up by the scruff so that he would not be left alone, and dashed off to meet Naida at the borders. His paws gracefully hit the ground as he ran.
Nimbus heard the unfamiliar roar and tilted his head. 'Who was that?' He thought to himself. He allowed his father to pick him up by the scruff and carry him off to.. where ever they were going.

Adia's ears perked at the sound of Naida's roar and was running right beside Santos as they took off for the border to meet the other lioness.

It didn't take long for them to reach Naida and soon they were standing right infront of her. He placed Nimbus on the ground infront of him and smiled. "Welcome to the pride Naida!" He bowed his head slightly.
Nimbus looked up at the other lioness. She had webbed flakes and a fin going down her back. "You're cool looking!" He giggled.

Watching the trio approach, she was tempted to roar again, but kept her composure, though the smile on her face showed just how happy she was. Bowing to Santos and his family, she accepted his greeting, and replied, "I am honored to be a member of the pride. Thank you so much." The little cubs comment made her giggle, and she nuzzled him gently. "You're cool looking too, little one."

Adia smiled at Naida and bowed her head slightly as well. "Come. You must join us at our main cave and see your new home." Adia said and with that turned allowing Santos to take Nimbus again and motioning for the two to come with her. It was time to see the sights.

Shaking the water out of her fur, Naida was more than happy to follow Adia. Home...something she'd never really had before. "I'm going home...finally going home" she whispered, more to herself than anyone else.

Santos didn't seem to hear Naida but bent down and let nimbus onto his back. Another member to the pride! Things were going great!
Nimbus giggled even more. "Really? We're cool together!" He hopped onto Santos' back and laid in his mane.
With Nimbus in place he led the two females back to the caves.

Adia fell in step behind Santos keeping a close eye on the little Nimbus being extremely sure that he wasn't going to fall. After a moment Adia glanced over to Naida. "It's good to finally have you with us. It will be much more exciting with a new lioness in the caves."

Naida grinned and bowed her head once more as she fell in step beside the queen. "I'm excited to have been accepted, though I admit I know very little about pride life. My mother rarely talked about it, and usually smacked us if my sister and I asked too many questions about her previous life. Don't get me wrong, she's taught me alot, but there is so much more that I've discovered I've never had a clue about before."

"Well, you can learn now," Santos replied slowing his pace a litte and grinning. He shook a peice of mane out of his face and his light blue eyes swept over every little detail of the lands. A smile tugged on the corners of his mouth.

Adia glanced over at Santos and then back to Naida and nodded. "Yes. I will show you the rights and wrongs of pride life. It's rather simple to remember. I grew up in a small pride a bit like this one." Adia said with a sweet smile on her face. She'd never taught pride eticate before but it wasn't too hard to remember and even easier to teach.

Naida was nervous, hoping she could make them proud of her. As king and queen, she suspected they became something like parents of the ones beneath them, and though she'd not known them long, she loved them dearly already. "What was it like growing up in a pride?" she asked, her normal cub-like curiosity starting to come back.

"It's usually very peaceful unless there's a bunch of troublemaking cubs around. Hunting is done by all pride members except the young and old. Disputes are put to rest quickly if there ever is any." Adia replied thinking of her times in her old pride, playing with Sarabi as a cub and pestering Magishan. Those had been days she will never forget.

Santos nodded to everything Adia was saying. He had been wondering what being in a pride your whole life was like. They approched the cave and Nimbus jumped off his back. Santos took his usual place at the entrance of the cave and layed there happily.
Nimbus jumped of Santos' back and ran towards the back of the cave. He had left something there when he had suddenly been grabbed by the scruff and taken off to the borders.

"Pretty much all for one, and one for all....alot different from the way I grew up. Mom taught us that only the strong survive, and in the end you only had yourself to count on. Leaning on anyone or anything else was a weakness that could be exploited by your enemies, and you NEVER gave your enemies something they could use against you. Though I understood the concept, it never quite sat well with me ever."
