the KH version left out parts of the original. besides, you can't beat the one and only FF-7! so, those two for 7 are tied in my mind. (i have both on a CD. whee )

Did it? I never survived long enough to notice...

i've got it so i can survive until i get Seph's health to green! *proud of herself* but yes, it leaves out parts of the original.
at first, (and i mean the FIRST time i EVER battled KH seph), it was a contest between my friend tabbi and me. i won by lasting 10 minutes, but i had to go home after. then i lasted 30 min with my friend markie as a witness, but i fell asleep after that. she told me i lasted another 5-10 minutes by falling asleep on the heal button. ^^; but in the end, seph killed me. (now that i think about it, i've actually WON a battle in X-2 by falling asleep on the controls. it was a boss fight too. eek sweatdrop )

I think i survived a half a minute. I forgot about the insane reach of his sword. o_O it's kinda scary when you're 10 feet away and you get whacked by a substantial amount of sword. I don't think I hit him once. ((I want that coat... xp ))

The AC one is called Advent: One winged angel. i would have liked it better if they kept the original lyrics.

Oh, and, just because: Sephiroth's Magic Cheese

I beat him in KH simply by keeping elixers handy, and stopping his heartless angel attack when I could, but other than that it was just a fight... kept Aeroga up, and used Curaga when I could, and avoiding most of the other attacks by either moving or guarding.

KH2 was much more fun... I beat him in Proud mode.
Guard Counter is your BEST FRIEND in that fight, just run at Sephi when he starts his combo, guard and if you successfully guard, hit the attack button... you will disrupt his combo and leave him open for a combo of your own. I had plenty finishing plus and combo pluses which ultimately took a whole lifebar away from him for each complete combo...
I don't remember if I had Elixers or Hi-potions...
Since he uses heartless angel while in the air, it is harder (I had never) to interrupt him, so all you can do is brace yourself and use a healing item
What killed me most of the time were his reaction command attacks, as he would do it when you least expect it. (When I had beat him he just failed to land the reaction with less than half a lifebar on his meter, and he landed RIGHT behind me)
As for the orbs of dark energy, I never could get the hang of avoiding those, so I relied on luck there sweatdrop

ah, yes... orbs of energy. it seems every bad guy has something annoying like that.

I only played the beginning of KH2, and i absolutely loved the reverse ablility. i was sad ya couldn't use it in the competition.

Reverse is only available when fighting the dusk type nobodies... nothing else

;_; but it's fun! especially during the fight with that really big nobody with the cool face. I was defying gravity! xd I had died two or three times before my friend and I turned to eachother, and at the same time said "We have potions!" She annoyed one of her gamer friends by not attacking the nobody and just using reverse all around it.

oh, right, any of the fights that involve the long spiny streamers have reversal as well...
Final boss fight was fun like that, and it was cool they made it a more cinematic fight with the same type of difficulty as a non-cinematic fight.

I like it when cinematic boss fights are challenging. I'm not sure which FF it was, like 9 or something, in which you fight a giant gelatinous-looking jellyfish-being and it's all "wtf? This fight is too easy for a final boss!"

The bossed in 9 were hard.

Was it kind of, "wtf?" and it just kept healing itself? ((I don't remember... 9 looks kinda like 6.... and i have a bad memory, too... ._."))

The bossed in 9 were hard.

They really weren't that hard, maybe only one or two of them were. The really hard boss was the wall-thing on 7, in the Temple of the Ancients.
