Name: Mya St.Clare, Clare Age: Late twenties
Apperence:Approximately 5'7" with a slender build she is surprisingly reserved and quiet, a change to her previous demeanor. Most commonly dressed in a fitted white dress shirt with either a dark green skirt or long dark jeans parried with either her knee high black boots or scuffed up blue sneakers. Her twilight gray eyes partially concealed behind a petite pair of frames and tomboyish array of short blue locks turned up at the ends.
History:Freelance jack of all trades, Clare presented herself early to the American Government as a possibility for intelligence operative training. Having declined their offer shortly after her basic military training, she disappeared from the states; soon drowning herself psychology classes at a well known British university. After an early withdraw, she disappeared from any official radar, becoming involved in a small tavern off the coast of France. From her reputation and flare with dodging the local law-enforcement, she gathered ties with smugglers, some locals further up in the food chain and became buried within the shipping aspects from France to the eastern Mediterranean. Many of the captains of various vessels, of air or water navigation, along with her clients occasionally showed their faces in the street side pub.
A choice that would leave her squinting at the grizzled man sitting at the opposite end of a small table, located in a very secluded room under the blaring hot light above. While her arms would remain secure to the back, with the persuasion of several tight knots, she would have no other choice then to answer Interpol's questions. The crates, whose contents had glittered in the hot Mediterranean sun, she would deny knowing anything about or why they had been so carefully tucked away in the vessel's lower regions.
Bypassing the possible unwelcome situation of spending her remaining years smuggled away in a drafty stone prison, she instead triumphed in appearing the ignorant girl, only brought along to pose as eye candy between the dealers. Along with several apologies later she would be gone once again, and walking through the park-esque entrance way to an almost empty building. An equally as deserted lobby surrounded by glass walls and one lone and very confused secretary, as her normal gathering of telephones, speakers, ect.. were 'moved' by the Protectorate and commissioner of the Central branch.

Name: Benjamin James Lockart Race: Human Eyes: Reddish brown Hair: Red Height: 5'11" Weight: 140 lbs.
Background: Ben was born into a military family in Ohio and was driven to play music at an early age instead of lifting and doing drills like his older brothers. Being that his family moved around a lot while he was in school, Ben never really learned to interact with people very well. He concentrated mostly on his music until he arrived in high school and his family decided to settle down. By this time, he had already become quite proficient at the piano and several other instruments including guitar and drum set. He and a small group of nerdy friends decided one day to start a band. Ben unknowingly overshadowed all of his friends with his talent at the piano and the band soon broke up. Not feeling very comfortable playing with others after that incident, Ben did some solo gigs as a senior playing for weddings and even his senior prom's cocktail hour. Auditioning for many schools with his art, Ben decided to attend the University of Delaware for a performance major in piano. Once again not making a large group of friends, Ben tries to not to show off for fear of losing the close ones he has.
Powers/Abilities: In the magical sense, Ben never had any abilities coming into the Brink and does not possess any while he is there. He is, however, proficient in the performing arts. He knows the basics of almost every instrument and the workings of the voice, but his forte comes while he is at the piano.

((Here we go *cracks knuckles*))
Name:Hanley Croix Race:Abstract Eyes:Baby Blue Hair:Gray Height:5'11" Weight:145lbs
Background:An old abstract that help form the human nature, Hanley is the voice of reason that passes through the ages to help with the world. Although, in the late early five thousands of Ano Dominiai he failed to keep the humans from destroying themselves. They now move about in shattered groups, formed under one general ruler of the earth that takes an old book to heart but changes it just a bit from it's original premise.
Powers/Abilities:A powerful magic user, though he tends not to attack. He keeps with him a special rune, that protects him from all forms of attack, though in turn prevents him from attacking (not that he wants to). He can however, do some basic things, such as float about and fly, as well as manipulate objects in non-threatening ways to help in general life and lessen strain on his old human-esque body
((And I can't just leave this rotting in some wordpad document, so don't get mad at me for this one smile )
The soft clicking of heels could be heard, along with an odd third clicking which seemed quite weird in a way. Almost as if it were a three legged man. Not many of those around though, and there probably weren't very many needs for that in the future of the human race, so it probably wasn't a third leg. Maybe he was carrying something or other. But that would be more of a dragging sound; wasn't carrying something. Well... maybe it was something to help him move. Yes! A cane, that's it! Oh, he must be old to need one of those.
Oh, he was old, indeed. White hair, and a beard, both neatly trimmed. His grey hair on his head slicked back a bit, showing his slightly receding hair line, and his beard showing just a bit of black at his chin for some odd reason. Truly a sight for sore eyes. Not many of those in his time, that was for sure. He seemed rather well dressed for an old man. A suit, that seemed barely tattered at all, and nice shoes to match (although, those were a bit scuffed from the dirt and rubble he walked through.) His soft baby blue eyes would wander around the rubble and buildings for hours looking for books and such to read.
He read so much his eyes always seemed to be sore. Of course, that meant he was either very old, or read quite alot. By looking at him, one would think the first, but no, it was the latter of the two. He would read for hours upon days if given the opportunity. Particularly in corners.
Now reading, you see, is a sarcred thing in his time. Not many could do it, and the ones that could normally had their tongues taken out so as not to read to the other people. Sort of a different approach to Ray Bradbury's "Farenheit 451." Rather then burning the books, take the tongues of the readers, so as not to spread the word. But oddly, he seemed to have his tongue, which was a rarity for readers. Only two in the world of readers still had their tongues, and one of them died shortly after the other left. Too bad, huh?
Why would one of the only two readers leave without looking back, you say? Well, he heard of a place, beyond time and space. Books as far as can be seen, and wonderous structures that are soft on the eyes. What old man who loved reading wouldn't love this? That is why the old man is here.
What is he? Well, only he knows, not even I, the all knowing narrator knows. Odd, huh? Some say he is an angel, others call him a devil. Perhaps he's nothing at all but a man.
One last question, you say? What kind of question would that be? What? His name? Why would you want to know that? Oh, well, I suppose you might need it to call out to him and partake of his knowledge, or perhaps just chat it up with an old man. Well, would you believe it was Hanley Croix? Odd name you say? Bah, poppycock. Perfectly fine for a british descended man. It's a meadow at the top of a cliff. The view is quite exsquisite. Perhaps you'll enjoy him as a friend as well.
What's that, you don't like people? Then you can buggar off from him, and that's a good idea of you're one of those kinds of people.
Anyways, the man continued to hobble down the road lined with rubble, eyes watching for books, as he worried about nothing else in such a long time passed the birth of God. Oh, must've been about five thousand years ago that happened. His feet carried him slowly towards the end of time and space. To Utopia, in death, or in life.

My favorite character, and the one with the most delicious relationships with other Brink members (they know who they are, *licks*), shall join up.
Looks like class is just about over; I'll finish this later.
Name: Gelmax (once called Jimen, aka Hunter of Hunters; now occasionally referred to as Existence, Darkness, War, or Brother) Age: 5000+ years? Place of Origin: A now-dead dimension, a barren world with naught left save magic Race: Potential God
History: ~History of the Potential Gods~
Eternity is a long time for any to exist, and over time even the gods grow weary of their duties. They then plant the seeds of godhood for others to find; and in time the finders gain power and mature, until they are ready to take the positions of the gods; they then take on all duties and powers of the old gods, who fade from the known universe.
In a simple world with primitive technology and no real government, the slightest change can cause an upheaval. So it was; magic started to appear over the course of a century or two, and that world underwent much change. As magical artifacts appeared and were discovered, and many found themselves with strange power they had not known before, advancement came purely on the heels of magic. After two hundred years, much had changed; technology had grown unevenly and swiftly with the combinations of metal and magic many engineered, many had utilized their power to the best of their ability, and a self-proclaimed king had claimed rule over the world. With no one bothering to dispute him or risk drawing his ire, as he had much power and skill which was the driving factor behind his ability to claim such a position, Athrosu grew great quickly and changed much more in that world. Bounty hunters became the chief police of that realm, and it was an effective (if expensive) policy, as Athrosu drew many magic-users into his ranks and encouraged all to join him or swear him loyalty.
Those magic-users who felt oppressed by his rule or disapproved of it, however, naturally didn't get the same privledges as many others, and felt somewhat persecuted - something enhanced by the common folk's irrational fear of some of them. Combining with a few lucky persons who'd been skilled enough to fight off the bounty hunters for whatever reason they were in trouble, they formed an army and rebelled. In the middle of all this turmoil, several objects appeared that no one thought was anything special. However, fifty years after the fighting was done, when all were done mourning the many dead of that war, and the participants and spectators of that fearful generation had joined the casualties of that dangerous time, a few people, who had come across these objects during their lifetimes, discovered what they were. However, no one else from that realm ever learned of those objects' purpose, and indeed only a very few remembered their existence; for the new gods told no one, but left that realm to claim their destiny.
~Gelmax's History~
During Athrosu's reign, Jimen was an on-the-run magic-user who'd survived long enough that even the bounty hunters were starting to get scared of going after the prime price on his head. Soon after, he ended up joining up with the rebellion to make a permanent solution to the constantly pursuing bounty hunters and soldiers, and was at the forefront of the few battles in that war. In time, however, he was slain by Athrosu himself, and his corpse flung from a window and forgotten in the ruin of the tower soon afterward. The first of the potential gods to arise, the first to leave, and the first to arrive in the realm of Gaia, his skill and experience in combat give no doubt that the position as the Potential God of Darkness, Existence, and War is well-founded, and he has shown himself to be by far the best of the potential gods in battle.
The original source of his dark power (and the original owner and creator of the dark Realm of Nonexistence which he controls) was a dark and powerful demon. At the demon's defeat, Gelmax took control of its dimension and of its power, and through that developed his unknown apitude for Darkness and Existence. He led for a time Kuwait City Air Base, and his loyalties are rare and uncertain...

...except that he is a powerful but dangerous ally. Prone to losing control of the darkness he had taken, he tried various countermeasures to maintain control, but these served only to waste his time and cause the darkness (developing its own sentience within Gel's mind) to retaliate with similar measures. Casting its mind to a remaint of the times when Gelmax was called Jimen, the darkness surfaced another presence in him, a weakened and fragmented version of Athrosu's mind, worsening still the multiple personality problems Gel had had since his death (which had also been increased by his own attempts to keep control, making a grand total of five personalities). Over time, it all simplified, and Gel gained more control over his power, becoming more stable and less active all the time.
However, little comes to a true end in this world of mortals, and he recently lost control once more. This time, however, he summoned a version of himself from the past, and controlled it himself to give himself the extra power he needed to take on enemies at the Gaian Police Department. After prolonged battle with officers and several of the other Potential Gods, however, both were subdued. Their mind hurriedly split, the darker personalities fleeing to the body of the past Gelmax, and Gel's full mind collecting in the body which bore his name. While before he might have been weakened by losing the source of his dark power, his strength had matured over the interval and his destiny become assured; and thus he was able to retain most of his power and regain what control he lost quickly.
Weapons: Heavily CRISAT armor taken from KCAB, complete with two KCAB-issue Gauss rifles, an OICW, and a MP7; the modified armor sports an advanced "Dual Infinity Generator" powersource and two massive railcannons. He also possesses a machete (ancient and magical, from the era of Athrosu, this blade can be considered holy) and a bloodsword (formed from the absorbed power of a blood mage), and utilizes shuriken and energy blades aplenty. In addition, the Realm of Nonexistence contains a LOT of gundams with pilots, "stored away" to resolve a temporal paradox. He also has a LARGE, POWERFUL cannon built in the Realm of Nonexistence and powered by the "Eternity Generator" based on designs he has seen during his travels.

Name:Vincent Diavolo (Formerly known as Vincent Colbini) Race:Hell Angel Eyes:Blood red Hair: Fire red, eye level all around, except back, which is down to neck. Height:6'2" Weight:238 lbs Facial hair:Light beard, brown color Defining marks: Scar running from the top of the right side of his forehead, down over his nose, and ending at the bottom of his left cheek (no hair grows at this spot)
Background: Vincent was born as a human, to two loving parents. At the age of four, his family was brutally murdered by vampires, leaving Vincent on his own. He was placed into foster care, until the age of sixteen, where he ran away. He spent time on the road, honing skills and training for a ifght that may never come (stil to this day hasn't). At the age of eighteen, he was taken in by a coven of vampires, who sired and trained him as such, forming him to be a great martial artist. At twenty four he was slain, going to the dark depths of hell where he spent two years in firey brimstone. After two years, he was returned to the living, as a hell angel, made to destroy a certain race at the time of reckoning. He dabbled with the GPD from age 22-65, at which point he was honorably discharged, sending him on his way with a crappy pension, and a few friends. Vincent wandered the Earth for a while, moving from place to place, writing a book about an old friend by the name of Torment (to this point he has no finished it.) At this point in time, he finds himself assisting the residents of an old town, which was destroyed during WWIV (yes, World War Four), helping them raise new animals, and crops, using what humanity he has left to assist them in any way.
Powers/Abilities:Increased speed, and a large control over fire. He does have flying capabilities, and with the wings, can creat large amounts of winds, up to and including gail force winds. Minor telekinetic and telepathic abilities. Also shares a rare link with Torment (though given the time split between the Torment that is at the brink and the Torment of Vince's time, Vince feels or hears nothing from Torment's mind while within the brink. ((Probably more to add later))

Name: Mystina (No last name.) Race:Faerie / Pixie. Hair: Blonde, down to her behind. Eyes: Blue. Height: 5'5" Age: She LOOKS 20-21. But she could be up to 2000 years old, or so. Fae age differently than humans. She would age normally up to the age of 20, and then it would slow down. Her mother is over 3000 years old, yet only looks 30. Defining Marks: Wings. They just don't show up all the time because she keeps them rolled up against her back, in her clothing. Also flowers in a wreath around her head...
Background: Was playing with a few other faeries when she showed up in the brink, she's pretty young, and very curious. She lives in Faerie, with other faeries and only now has had contact with other humans. Other magical creatures, Yes. Humans? No. Doesn't know much about the human world, things like a lighter seem amazing to her, and she's innocent, she doesn't know any better than to try what someone else tells her... In that way at least. She's a bit mischevious like all of the fae, and very curious like I said. She honestly thought she was dreaming because she'd never seen an enclosure like The Brink before...
Her Mother is actually the queen of Faerie, she runs things. And this little Faerie one day will have to take over. She doesn't like the thought of that much, but can be serious when it's nessesary.
Another thing to note is the Fae don't get ill. They don't have doctors or anything like that. They also meet other magical creatures, some whom are still on Earth, but do not show themselves. Some Faeries live on Earth, it's their choice, their right... They only interfere with humans, when called upon.
Other: She's very playful, loves animals, and gives her trust willingly, and easily... Though she is careful and will notice if something is amiss.
Abilities: She can sense the emotions of others if she's close to them and can fly around.
Currently: She's with Tac, on an adventure, and is Pregnant. By Tac's Herald, Sent / Ageless Senteniel. So the child will be 1/4 Bird 1/2 Man 1/4 faerie. She also belongs to him, in other words, is pretty much married to him by his customs.

Character Name :: Lilly Race :: Dryad (Forest Nymph) Age :: She doesn't know her current age, Dryad's don't count time as Human's do. She looks about 24, but might be around 70. Her particular race doesn't age or die, until the forests die. Eyes :: Violet Hair :: A slight shade of crimson, naturally. It's long, slightly wavy, to her hips. Height :: around 5'2" Weight :: Isn't aware of what she weighs, but is slim and has long legs.
Background - Lilly never knew her parents, she was raised by gnomes in the forest who named her Lilly. Because of her strange upbringing, other nymphs stray away from her. She has never had many friends of her kin. Instead she has always enjoyed spying on humans and faeries and other folk around her.
She has always lived in the same forest which humans have had access to. Faeries live in the glade near it, and she has made a few faerie friends by the streams where she bathes.
Lilly has always been fiercly loyal and protective to trees and the spirits inside them. She can get enraged if someone tries to hurt the trees. She is usually passive unless this happens, and then she frightens them off.
Lilly has had visions of the brink, but until now has not been able to enter it. She can't do it by will, and she doesn't try to fight it. She feels overwhelmed by the races inside of it, and unable to hide herself from others in the brink frightens her.
Personality: Lilly is quiet and shy and only lets herself be seen when she wants to be. (Except in the brink where her power does not work) She holds a secret she has never told anyone about her past and most can see it glimmering in her eyes when they look at her. When she is angry her hair flames like fire. Her violet eyes seem to hold also the secret wisdom of the tree spirits.
Lilly is mostly lonely and feels a tugging to know humans, but she has never as of yet spoken to one. She has so many things she wants to ask. She has a hatred for a lot of them, but not all. She is a good judge of character.
She can seem innocent and naive but don't let that fool you. Lilly is wise and sharp, and can be mischevious. She means well, but likes to live life trying to discover everything. She isn't very modest, but in the brink seems to have appeared in a darkish dress. She always wears a crown of flowers that a faerie made for her ages ago.

Name: Janani Waystar Lunaris
Age: 812
Timeline: 2007 (by her current age)
Race: Celestial Shard
Gender: Female
Height: 8'2"
Weight: 578
Equipment: Globe of Terrace -A strange, crystaline sphere containing the Mana Essence of Terra. -Janani uses the Globe of Terrace to unleash her most poweful energy binds.
Bow of Ever-End -A bow that has a magical stock of arrows that never runs out. -Janani is able to entwine energy around these arrows to give them nearly any effect she desires.
Celestial Cape -A cape and hood that protect Janani from magic. -The Celestial Cape can also boost Janani's natural charisma.
Morning Star -A crest depicting the rising sun. -This crest offers Janani a shield she can activate for 5 rounds up to 2/day to protect against physical attacks.
Cat Plushie -Janani calls her WhiteRose; though, none have ever heard her say that. -It doesn't seem to have any use...
Description: Janani is short and light in stature for her race. Her skin is oddly dark, again for her race, and her hair is purple. She has clear, seductive eyes and a pair of small wings that don't look any more useful than her favorite cat plushie having only a two-foot span. As any Celestial, she is brimming with beauty, grace, and charm. As a Celestial Shard, she really doesn't care about her appearance. Janani would run around naked if she could. She, however, does wear enough to cover herself. She usually wears some kind of tank-top and shorts as well as a pair of boots. She never was very fashionable...
Abilities: Master Bow-woman -Janani can shoot arrows with the best of them. -Janani brags that Robin Hood has nothing on her.
Energy Bind -Janani can bring the energy that surrounds her and "bind" it. -All binding energy really means is that Janani can cause an ordinary object to become quite useful. O_o Is that the secret behind her Cat Plushi?!
Personality: Janani is perpetually happy. She'll run around and shout about any accomplishment! She wants to share her joys with the world...and she gets around to it very easily. In her calmest state, she wears a delightful smile and is ready and willing to speak with anyone. She doesn't let being short and scrawny, for her race, get her down! Janani enjoys being in a crowd...that's for sure...
History: Janani has a twin brother who was meant to be everything to their family. She was always protected by him, easily hidden even in his shadow. They were both born premature, but she got lucky to be born with wings. The doctors said hers would only be vestigial, unworking. Janani proved them wrong! However...her brother was not so fortunate... He didn't even have wings! They were both short and scrawny, but he was the one that got picked on, the most. Janani watched, in sadness, as her brother left the Celestial Shard village. It was assumed he would never return...
For the next four-hundred years, Janani studied and mastered the art of energy binding. Overjoyed at the end result, she began a journey to find her brother. Little did she know that he had returned one late night to their hometown disguised as a simple wanderer. She searched for years with absolutely no luck. Janani would run across a clue, here or there, but her brother would always be elsewhere. She was on the brink of giving up when she ran across the cutest little thing! She used what little money she had, at the time, to purchase her Cat Plushie as well as a Robo Dog for her wayward brother.
Her spirit rejuvinated, Janani continued her journey. She knows she'll find her brother, someday! She'll just have to avoid all that male, and some female, attention until she does! Wait O_o Why are those people following her? The world...will never know...

Okay. Here goes for a description.
Name: Ichiro Sato Height: 152.6 cm Weight: 50.1 kg Eyes: Brown
Physical Description: Ichiro has short black hair, shorn really, and often unkempt due to the fact that she's typically wearing her helmet. She's very plain looking, thin lips made thinner by the almost constant scowl she wears, the typical ruddy complexion of a person who spends too much time outside, and not enough time concerning themselves with their appearance. All in all, Sato is a mostly average and plain looking japanese girl. Ichiro's personality is vastly different. Ichiro's parents (as evidenced by her name) are from an age old military family. Even in the future, some things don't change readily. Like the acceptance of women on the battlefield, or the role of the firstborn MALE in a traditional family. As such, Ichiro was more or less rejected from birth. She grew up without the possibility of acceptance, despite her hard work of growing up as a "boy". Don't be fooled, Ichiro isn't a tomboy. She's never really had ANY semblance of femininity in her. Ever. She holds herself like a man, walks like a man, talks like a man, and thinks like a man.
Many contribute this to be the reason for her inclusion in the advanced forces of the A.E.D.F. (Allied Earth Defence Force) Mobile Suit Assault Team as well as her proclivity at getting herself promoted, and her being assigned to one of the prototype Mobile Suit Units, the 4th division of the A.T.U. (Advance Tactical Unit) squadron. Those who work with her know better, though. Ichiro is quite a capable soldier, and an even more than capable pilot. It has been rumored that she has been used in the A.E.D.F.'s Newtype Creation Project, but such statements are sofar unproven.
What is proven is that Ichiro is an aggressive, even ruthless fighter. While in no way sadistic, Ichiro is hardly compassionate, either. She's prone to violence and agression, but very rarely given to rage. She keeps a clear mind and makes sound, logical decisions even in the most stressful situations. She's a risk taker, but also one to thoroughly contemplate the effects that her risk taking may have. She has a remarkable talent at reading a battlefield and an enemy, and proves to be deadly when provoked. Its also known that she has problems with authority and that she's a hopeless drunk. Well, nobody is perfect.
Sato is almost always in her flight suit, ready for action. The flight suit is basically as seen on her avatar, colors and design is all pretty much the same. The "G" pin is a flight pin she wears, signaling acceptance into the Mobile Suit Division. On both shoulders of her suit she sports the A.E.D.F. insignia. Its design is the same as the United Nations logo, only it reads A.E.D.F. Mobile Forces across it. On her back, across her shoulders, in red is her identification, "Lt. Sato". Sato's helmet is also exactly as in the avatar, with one small difference. Across its right side it says:
"Badger" 4th Division A.E.D.F.
That's all for now... We'll see if I can't come up with more later. >_<
