"W-well...I wasn't alone...I was traveling with my friend Noari...but then this morning he wasn't awake yet so...I went for a walk..." Nkechi murmured, her ears slowly loosening to pull forward slightly. Imal...Imal seemed nice. She didn't know what Imal was or anything but...she didn't seem like she'd hurt her, even if she did kinda look like the things that had attacked her brother. Her tail curled around her tail and she lifted her head slightly, so she wasn't curled on the ground anymore.

Imal smiled weakly and nodded. "Well, atleast you're travelling with someone." Her ears drooped as she thought about her companion. "Mine left me to fend formyself. I do miss him though." Her sweet demeanor almost shattered but she quickly got herself back together.
"Noari? You shouldn't be wandering around alone especially with your friend sleeping."
Imal never knew when she had become more motherly in her advice to others but this lion didn't seem to want to hurt her at all.

"Oh...well...I didn't plan to be gone long...I didn't even think I'd get far," Nkechi murmured honestly, looking rather sheepish. Poor Noari...what if he woke and found her gone? That probably wouldn't be very pleasent. They hadn't been traveling together too long, but Nkechi had a loyal, if niave nature and she assumed he'd miss her if she went missing. After all, they were such good friends! Or at least, she thought so.
She frowned, looking sad, her fear dropping away for the moment. "Oh...I'm so sorry!" She murmured to Imal, "He left...? That's so mean...unless he didn't mean to like I didn't...perhaps he'll come back. If you're friends he shouldn't be away for long, right?"

Imal sighed. She didn't want to worry about Chiboa but she couldn't help it. Her tail swished. "I'm sure he won't worry too much. Just make sure to get back to him in good time."
"No. He left for good. He told me that he couldn't help me by being around anymore so her picked up and ran." Her orange eyes darted to the ground. "I decided to follow him though. I was on his trail but now I'm afraid that I've lost his scent."

"That wasn't very nice of him," Nkechi mumbled, looking sad. Why would someone leave Imal? She seemed so nice...it didn't make sense ot her. Maybe he was a mean person...but then, why would Imal follow him so? That couldn't be it then...but the whole thing confused her to no end. It just didn't follow what little logic the lioness had. "I hope you find him, though," she added offering a weak smile. It was meant to be encouraging, though it probably didn't look it.

"He's just around here but I know that I'll find him someday." Her tail wagged a bit as she looked off towards the mountains. Maybe she wouldn't find him. What would she do then? It didn;t really matter. Chiboa was just a male she had found wandering about. Maybe she would find another that she could spill her heart out to. No. It would be him or no one until her heart settled.
"I have to keep searching. Thank you for talking with me for so long." She nodded in respect and leapt off, a smile plstered on her maw.
