Kanji is HORRIBLE.
I couldn't memorize kanji characters to save my life.
I barely remember katakana. o.o
If only I was born in Japan. *sigh* It would make things a lot easier.

I need to join in with the Kanji-hate club:
Kanji makes my brain hurt in over a 1000 ways.
(I heard in about six years of school Japanese students know about 1000 characters which is about 90% of characters used in a newspaper.... sweatdrop if only I were one of those students)

You already have one alphabet down. Languages in the world that are hardest to learn: 1. English 2. Japanese 3. Mandarin Chinese 3nodding

I must admit though, for some reason, I find Japanese WAAAAAY easier to learn than I did spanish. O.o And Spanish is supposed to be easy!
