Kalaeris Similar hairstyle, is it? I never really thought of that either. That's eerily interesting... *nods* never thought of it that way.

Go find it on ebay?
What happened was in the begining of Trowa's Story it shows Trowa having a flashback of his parents inside of a carriage with his older sister that had catherine's hair style. a rocket or bomb hit the carriage and Trowa was tossed out one side Catherine out another. a few more pages happen and Trowa with the Mercinaries drive through or near the area where Catherine's circus troop was located.
In a box it says "Nine Years ago Catherine Bloom lost her parents and her little brother in an air raid. Ever since then she dispised war." Later on after the chapter about Trowa and Middi Une a small blip article was printed with infomation about Trowa and Catherine's relationship.
Though they never come directly out and say YES Trowa and Catherine are brother and sister. the time frame given in their histories heavily suggests that YES they are family and that Trowa's name is really Triton(3) Bloom.

Just to elaborate on that... The novelization of Endless Waltz confirms their relationship; In an expanded version of the circus scene, Cathy notices a burn scar on Trowa's back. When she asks about it, he says he doesn't know where or when he got it, but he's had it as long as he can remember. The narration explains that the injury was caused by a burning piece of the Blooms' circus cart which struck baby Triton in the back, and ouright says that Trowa is Triton, but neither of them know that.

If the standard explanation follows, it's superheated plasma encased in a magnetic "bottle" that is disrupted when it strikes something. The reason beam weapons clash is because their shaping fields try to force one another apart.

The reason beam weapons clash is because their shaping fields try to force one another apart. yeah, that is a good explination. then you probably know that they dont cut anything either. they actually just melt the surounding area because the heat and energy released from the saber is so great that it melts an object before it can get to it. An example is when Zechs "sliced" Space fortress Barge. notice his saber didnt really touch some of the fortress. hmm. makes you think huh?

As for beam saber colors... that's probably not even worth bothering to answer, as it would be explaining something entirely asthetic. I knew about how the beam sabers worked as well.
Shining_paladin: I'm wondering... do AC and UC sabers work differently then maybe? At one point in the original MSG, Amuro melts the cockpit off of another mobile suit (Ramba Ral?), without harming the occupant. Though it could also be explained by the significantly higher outpit of Epyon's beam saber as well...

To represent status? Sides? Factions? Same reason why in UC certian Zaku's where different?

Yeah, the reason the Zaku's were different colors was because of your status/rank or you always had a color on it.
