How to Join:
After reading through all of the material listed above as well as reviewing the map and the location information (this is all important because if you don't know the alignment of the towns and what functions go on there - you're screwed), feel free to send an application to myself or Nicholai Maxwell. Nicholai and I co-own this RP, and he is in charge of new applicants. Therefore, messaging your finished application to him or I would be perfectly alright. Likewise, if you have any questions about anything , listed or not, contact either of us. Please keep in mind that not everyone can be SUPER POWERFUL . We appreciate the application of characters that aren't superhuman. By far, these are my favorite applications of all. The nation is exactly that - a nation. A nation needs normal, everyday people, who lead normal everyday lives in order to function. If we were all superhuman characters who didn't need to eat or sleep - there'd be no real nation. If that's what you want - go join a DBZ roleplay - NOT this one.

New characters are added almost everynight at anywhere from 6PM to 8:30PM (Pacific Standard Time). If you would like to have your character added more quickly - try sending your application to not only Nicholai, but also Brad. It takes both RP Mods in order to guarantee that you will get in; but sending them to both us can't hurt and only speeds up the process.

How to Fill-Out an App:
The following is a list of the information that you must include in order to have your application accepted. The requirements for an application are:Name, Age, Gender, Race, Weapon*, Runes**, Alignment***, Origin****, Physical description, and History/Back story.

* - Please include your weapon-name as well as a short description of your weapon. IE: Function, looks, etc;
** - Runes are a touchy subject because the number of runes and the type of runes that you may obtain are fairly restricted. This is almost entirely based on your backstory as well as your position in the RP. A fairly physical character who has almost no magical training may only get one rune slot, while a highly magical, noble character who teaches at the Magic Academy may have all three slots open (Left Hand, Right Hand, Head).
*** - There are three types of alignment: Noble, Neutral, and Crestian (Rebel Faction). Nobles aren’t necessarily the bad guys and Crestians are not necessarily the good guys. Don't think of this RP in terms of good vs evil - although in some cases it may be. The Nobles are NOT copies of the Scarlet Moon Empire or Highland. Nobles and Rebels are simply two factions that have completely different ideas. (NOTE: The Crestians will NOT be called that until Dante can gather some companions to form the faction. They are named after him, and thus would not be understandable unless he has started leading them. Do not call yourself one until the faction forms, though that will be accepted on your form.)
**** - Origin is critical when deciding what side, if any, you will take in this crazy world. Origin is the town that your character is from. Also, depending on your job and alignment you may want to choose one town over another. Please refer to the Town Alignment list as well as the map in order to get a better feel of the nation and where everything is. Keep in mind that most northern towns, with a few exceptions, are primarily Noble towns, while many of the southern towns, but certainly not all, are neutral or rebel.

Name: Dante Crestmill
Age: 23

Weapon: CrescentMoon - A boomerang-like weapon with short knife-like daggers attached at both ends.

RH - Double-Beat
Align: Neutral
Origin: Taikou
Physical Description: Dante Crestmill has dark brown hair that pokes out from under an old yellow bandana. His deep, dark eyes; the eyes of a hero, and his gentle countenance help in drawing people to him. Draped over his left shoulder is a shield and shoulder pad that extends the length of his arm. The shield bends at the elbow to allow free movement. He wears a dirty tunic tucked into his dark jean-like pants. Belts are strung up and down his right leg and across his torso. On his feet is a pair of lightweight boots. Covering his tunic is a dark vest/jacket and he wears a black, fingerless glove on his right hand. Dante wields the 'Crescent Moon', a boomerang weapon with two knife-like blades on either side.
History: Dante was born in the village of Taikou in Yorün. The whereabouts of his mother and father are unknown, but something deep down tells him that they are still alive. He is skilled with his weapon, the Crescent Blade, which is a hybrid boomerang-dagger weapon that serves as both long and short range. He shares in the growing distaste for the Noble Holy Guard as well as their mistreatment of elves and kobolds, but like most - he keeps his opinions to himself. After his father's disappearance, young Crestmill followed in his fathers' footsteps of being a fisherman; catching fish and shipping them by cart to the market in Brin'Jiar to sell. Dante has always known that the work of a fisherman is not only honorable, but also vital to feed the nation of Yorün, but he has always dreamed of something more...

Name: Roan LeSair
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Weapon: Starlight Falcons - Twin Daggers with ivory blades. They have platinum hilts that are carved to fit his hands perfectly. The blade itself is long and has extremely sharp edges, like his personality.

Physical Description: Roan is a slender, pale-skinned Harmonian. His fingers are very slender and long, and are usually covered by white gloves. He has silver-white hair that hangs down to his shoulders. It is usually worn down, but on occasion is pulled back into a pony-tail. He has cold, green eyes that have a piercing tendency. He wears pale white tunic with billowing sleeves and long white pants. Over this, he wears a silvery colored robe with a Harmonian Crest on the chest. On his feet he wears white knee boots with a slight heel. He wears a platinum ring on his left hand ring finger, which seems to have a strange power. His features are soft otherwise, but his eyes are definitely cold enough to give you chills.
History: Roan was born in Ci
laar to a nobleman and a Harmonian sorceress. He was raised with experience only in the upper class, and has thus lived naïve to the lower classes lifestyle. His mother sent him to study in Kou
Tiel as a mage at age 7, and thus spent most of his life studying their ways. There were times when his own Harmonian values were subjected to criticism by the various professors of the academy, but he fought them at every turn, standing up for the great hero Hikusaak. Thus, he received the greatest magical training available in Yorün and still retained his faith. This education continued until he was 17 years of age, at which time he left the academy and returned to serve Bishop Loto. Though he was young and inexperienced, he soon became one of Bishop Loto
s head generals, and studied under the great General Dane LeMoore, who was at the time the most powerful figure under the Bishop. Dane was growing older, though, as he was born shortly after Yorün
s foundation. After 5 years of study with Dane, Dane retired to live a comfortable life in Baenar Cress with his family, while Roan took over his position as lead general, causing a slight upset in some of the nobles. He proved his influence and power after only a short time, and silenced his opposition with his awe-inspiring speeches and campaigns. His life as a general has been fairly unmerited, seeing as peace has reigned so strongly for as long as he can remember. Though few know it, Roan is actually a cold and calculating strategist, rather than just another noble general. His intelligence very rarely ever associated with his cruel and icy side, though his closest companions and associates understand it entirely too well. His ferocity in battle is usually disguised by his calm manner, giving his opponents a false sense of power, only to have them beaten down by his intense strength. Those who know him best will attest to his manipulative abilities, such as his ability to rouse crowds into great morale. Those abilities might come into use very soon. The tensions between the Nobles and the Yorün commoners have been growing steadily, and his complacent life just might get a lot more interesting...

Name: Joseph Alude, now known as Garou Seth
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Weapon: Twin Katanas of legend (not uber), one named Einhander and the other Brigander. Einhander is primarily the one handed sword, which is great for Seth when he displays his talent in the Iaijutsu art. Brigander is primarily the two handed sword, which he likes to use to display raw power. It can be used one handed but preferred as a two handed sword.

Origin: Brin'Jiar, raised in Rekisuu, and resides in Ijiin
Physical Description: Joseph Alude has the look of a warrior. He has dark and distant eyes; eyes that tell the tragic story of his life. His long flowing hair is held back in a pony-tail and in the front only a few bangs hang down. Seth wears a dark blue tunic underneath a traditional, light blue kimono with two, brilliant red stripes running parallel to his arms. On his hands and wrists are gloves of a deep blue hue. Sheathed at his side are his weapons, Einhander and Brigander.
History: Son of Darsh and Karen, this young man has experienced much turmoil at such a young age. With his mother being killed in a conflict that occurred 10 years ago (still unknown to him till this day) and his father imprisoned nearly all his life at Brin'Jiar, Joseph was alone. After his mother died, he was sold on the market to pay off some of his father's debt. It was at that moment, when he met the woman that saved him. Her name was Kitsune Suzuhara. Feeling sorry for the misfortune of the boy, she requested that she claim the boy as her own. He lived with Kitsune at Rekisuu. As he remembered the past, anger built up in him, and Kitsune decided to harness this anger and train him. Unknowing that this woman was a sword master and an expert rune mage, Joseph, now called Seth by her, willingly trained with her. Since the age of 7, he has been perfecting the Tenshin-Reshin style, along with the Iaijutsu art. He also dabbled in magic as well. Then more tragedy struck the kid, when his "Step-Mother" fell ill. She later died, around Seth's 15th birthday. Disturbing news brought Seth over the edge. It was discovered that an enemy swordsman, who was jealous of Kitsune’s status, poisoned her. After finding out who the killer was, Seth murdered him. It was Seth first cold-blooded act. Afterward he was never the same. Vowing never to be victim of circumstance, Seth became Garou Seth, and began his quest.

Name: Rooks Tejinashi
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Weapon: Wakazashi- a single edged short sword that looks like it was only used once a few years ago. And… well he can’t use it that well.
Runes:
LH: Wizard
Align: Neutral
Origin: Ijiin
Physical Description: Rooks seems slightly more slender than an average build human. He wears an old black silk shirt with its right sleeve missing. The shirt is tucked into a sash, and he is wearing black baggy pants. On his ankles are black stained leather greaves with several unnecessary buckles attached. On his feet he wears wooden geta that clack on the ground as he walks. Atop his head rests a large straw hat.
History: His father was a rich man in Ijiin, who made shady dealings. One horrible day he took an elven woman from her home village and forced her to marry him. Their child was born a year later and was given the name Rooks. Rooks lived a life of being cooped up inside his home and listening to an endless amount of babble from alternating tutors. All he wanted to do was get outside and live his life. So one day he climbed down the ivy on the side of the rather large house, and ventured into Ijiin to find merriment. Not too smart an idea. He was about to be mugged in an alley by some thieves when he was saved by a girl not to much older than he. Her name was Alice. The two became best friends, and Rooks continued to sneak out the next few years to hang out with her. But then one night when Rooks was about to head out, he heard his mother and father fighting. Rooks father beat to death his mother in an argument over Rooks sneaking out and ruining the father’s reputation. Human-elf spawn were seen as abominations in that particular neighborhood. Witnessing his father beating his mother, Rooks grabbed a short sword on a nearby table and thrust it into his father’s gut. With her dying breaths, Rooks mother gave him a Wizard rune and told him to go and be free. And so Rooks met with Alice and told her he was leaving Ijiin, but he would be back. He left, carrying with him the short sword. He still can’t properly use the sword. Meanwhile he can’t put to use the rune because it is supplemental towards having a different spell rune. He doesn’t realize just how JIPPED he was.

Final Words:
I just need to get this in about RUNES. I have been receiving PMs for players to either have runes in ALL THREE SLOTS or to have TRUE RUNES.

I'm sorry but I cannot do this. You need to keep yourselves realistic. As I said, I despise god-modding and super-powerful players. I also despise the characters that just go around killing things. Now, I will let a few of these slide, but I will NOT allow players to start out with 3 rune slots (unless you can give ample reason) and I can definately not allow the use of True Runes.

This may not be identical to Suikoden, but I do know who had True Runes at this period of time and it wasn't any of us. A few of them are unaccounted for - but because of the nature of True Runes and their awesome power - I cannot allow new players to start out with them.

I'm sorry.

Please, when in doubt, only attach 1 or 2 runes to yourself. If I feel that you have attached too many - I will tell you about it and deny your application. Also, be aware that it attacks outstanding magical ability to have a rune on your HEAD slot. Again, you need just cause to have one attached here.

Finally, no runes can be attached on weapons. This gets too confusing. Period.

When in doubt, ask me. That's what I'm here for. Other than that - I can't find anything else to say right now so... I'll add whatever later.

Also, when roleplaying with OTHER PEOPLE'S CHARACTERS, maybe it would be best to plan out the conversation over another chat program (IRC, AIM, MSN, Yahoo) or if all else fails PM them. That way, you can compile the entire conversation in one post rather than having to wait for their replies.

Lastly, I am keeping a running summary of the happenings in the RP. At the end of every week, probably Saturday or Sundays, I will update the happenings of the previous week soas new members can refer to what has happened in the past. Also, it's a hell of a lot easier to read through than all these pages that we are going to build up.
