"He will, he just needs time to get over a few conflicts that I'm sure he's having problems with at the moment." Starry said, now thinking of ways to get Raken to see Fre. "Hmm, the second time you ran into him, you must have been looking for a book on how to control your power..." She said, thinking outloud. "Just ask Dameon where he's training that day, he usually finds the right spots when he has an answer."

"I just hope he's not avoiding me," Fre said hanging her head and giving a sigh. In one part Raken was right, love did complicate otherwise simple things. She'd have to find him and spend time with him, it was important that he take a break every now and then from training. "I'll ask Dameon, but I'd rather at least approach him on my own."
"He's just very difficult to talk to sometimes. And he's so set on being an Elder...it kind of makes me nervous. What if after he beomes an Elder he doesn't love me anymore?"

"He could be, sounds like something Raken would do. But if he admitted that he loves you he'll be around shortly." Starry said, picking up her all knowing tone again. "While the body changes, feelings do not. If he becomes an elder then he'll still love you, he won't change in that sense." Starry sighed, wondering slightly if becoming an elder would affect her relationship with Dameon...

"I hope so," she sighed. "He just seems so reluctant to. I mean sure he said it but well...I guess I'm just nervous." Fre ran a hand through her hair like she often did when she was worried. This wasn't good for her nerves at all. If she somehow lived through this temporary seperation it'd be a miracle. "The problem is the relationship is so new and so young that at any moment it could be over. That'd be the last thing that I'd want."

"Look, he must love you if he actually said it. He's dealing with problems beyond your control right now. Think about it, he thinks love is stupid and he fell in love with a girl. That's not something that he would think was smart." Starry said, now looking a tad bit worried. "If you make it through his being wishy-washy then you'll make it through anything. I mean look at me and Dameon, he and I met as children and then didn't see each other again until we were teenagers. Then we got seperated again and look, we have two sons right now. You can make it with Raken." She finished, pointing over to her son.

"I suppose you're right," even though she was trying to be comforting it still didn't make it much better. He'd have to come around sooner or later but it just didn't make it any better. She'd always worry; it was just in her nature. "I really do love him. I just know how important being an Elder is to him, and though I'd love to have his kids...I don't know if that'll happen before he becomes and Elder."

"Look, if you can mange to get him into the bed with you before he becomes an elder then you might be able to get pregnant and surprise him with kids." Starry said, now reminded of when Dameon found out she was pregnant. "His becoming an elder is not more important to him than you are, even if he does want it more than anything right now. What he doesn't want to admit is that he thinks your more important than his possible elder status."

Fre flushed immedietly at the mention of going to bed with Raken. She loved him but she wasn't quite that far in her thinking yet. "Well...um...I suppose...well maybe..."

Starry smiled, having acomplished one of her favorite tasks. Make the new friend nervous... "It's how you make kids, what did you think that I just said that I wanted kids and got pregnant with Junior and Shageki?" She said, almost sweetly.

Her face was still bright red, "I know...but...I...I just don't know if I'm there quite yet." Fre ran a nervous hand through her hair again and again, trying to cover up her embarassment. "I mean, yeah I want kids...but I mean I just kissed him not that long ago."

Fre just hung her head, embarassed about all of this. Part of her suddenly wished that she hadn't told Starry but the oter part was relieved. "I just don't know how I'd go about doing that...or even if he'd want to. He's really closed off."

Fre flushed brilliantly. She laid a hand on her cheek and nodded her head at Starry as she talked. There'd be plenty of time for that sort of thing later, of course it was still embarassing to talk about. "It'd be awkward to talk about it with anyone."

Starry yawned, "Yes it is awkward talking about that with anyone. Though we both need rest, we have a long day ahead of us tommorow." she flopped on a branch near Fre, allowing her the one htat she was on for the time that the tree would hold guests. "We have things to make the branch comfortable if you want them."
