Hi everyone!!! Here is a verse that strengthens the fact that we have already won!!

Romans 4:17b (King James Version)

17b even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

And the Amp:

Romans 4:17b (Amplified Bible)

17b Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed.

Our God calls those things that be not ..... as though they already were!!! In His sight, we have already won!!

You can also use this verse for warfare, to claim your healing, deliverance, or others', etc.

(uh what's with the banners...? weird Oh is that the friends list thing? Cool. Lemme try! xd )

33 "This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel (that's US! 4laugh )
after that time," declares the LORD.
"I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.

34 No longer will a man teach his neighbor,
or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,'
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,"
declares the LORD.
"For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more
."

35 This is what the LORD says,
he who appoints the sun
to shine by day,
who decrees the moon and stars
to shine by night,
who stirs up the sea
so that its waves roar—
the LORD Almighty is his name:

36 "Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,"
declares the LORD,
"will the descendants of Israel ever cease
to be a nation before me."

You know who's the funniest being in the Universe? GOD! I was reading Matthew (my favorite book in the Bible) and I came across this (I was reading it again because I needed to refresh my memory)

"DO not judge lest you be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. And why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "Let me take the speck out of your eye," and behold, the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. "-(Matthew 7:1-6)

God has a great sense of humor. He really does. Heck, He invented humor. The message makes perfect sense, and the way Jesus said it makes me laugh (in a good way) I got a visual that was quite funny to me.

*A man is running around, screaming his head off because he's got a big freaking log in his eye, then he sees a man with a little speck in his eye*

Man with log: AHHHHHHHHH! gonk *is still running around* *sees man with speck* *stops completely* Oh, sir? You've got a little speck in your eye.

Man with speck: Really? Oh, I didn't notice. *rubs eye* Did I get it?

Man with log: *steps closer, ignoring the log he still has in his eye* Umm...I don't think so. Here, let me get that for you *picks it out*

Man with speck: Wow, I didn't even notice that little speck. Thank you, sir!

Man with log: No problem wink Now, where was I? *remembers log* Oh yes, AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! *runs around again*

I thought it was hilarious! lol *hugs God*

That is the very thing that made me really understand the ultimate coolness of Jesus.

i was just talking about this to my dad last night.

The other one I lovers is:

23 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24 You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel

Pharisee at a resturant.
Episode 1

Pharisee sitting at the bar in a resturant. He is with some of his friends. A camel walks by and sits in his small bar glass. The waitress looks alarmed and begins to alert the Pharisee about the defliement of his beverage.

Waitress: Uh, excuse me sir, but I'm not sure that you are aware that there is something in your drink.

The pharisee is indignant.

Pharisee: I am a spiritual leader amongst this nation! Do you not think that I did not see this unclean vessle before me!

The frame zooms in to the glass. The pharisee flicks off a small gnat and continues to guzzle both the drink and the camel.

Last frame

The Pharisee's neck is shaped like a camel and he has a smug look

2nd Pharisee (to the now shocked and disgusted waitress): Now about that speck in your eye...

(This'll be a strip for Ironica, my cartoon strip.)

LOL. That's great! rofl That shows how the Pharisees were very well.

I have a few stories to share that go along with these verses.

17The seventy-two returned with joy and said, "Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name."

18He replied, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

Lately I've been having demonic nightmares. I've been havig dreams where things that I cannot see have been laughing sadistically right in my face and all around me. It's like Evil Dead 2 when the demons are laughing at Bruce Cambell through texidermy animal heads. The first dream that I had like that, I was freightened at first. I mean, having some invisible force laughing at you sadistically ain't any happy matter. But in my dream, I remembered this scripture. So, I started speaking it out loud in my dream, and I'm positive I was also saying it verbally. The inivisble forces stopped laughing and cheesed it out of my dream. I woke up, covered with sweat, and i was a little shaken, but I took comfort knowing Jesus was in the same room with me, kicking demon butt! Then I fell back asleep.

The second time this happened was only last night. I wasn't fully asleep, but I was dozing off. Before long, I heard this crazy laugh again. I woke up immediately, this time, however, I wasn't shaken. I just quoted that scripture, said, "In the name of Jesus Christ, leave!" and I was back asleep. I didn't dream last night, but it's all good.

mrgreen I've got a few verses today, and I want you to interpret this, tell me what you think it means:

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand.
I and My Father are one"

(John 10:27-30)

*singsong* If you can tell me first, then I can tell you. . . 4laugh

Hmm, I'd say it's pretty straightforward... God is our creator and leader both. He created us, and now protects and guards us. 4laugh

Yay, Froggie!!! mrgreen That's what I thought, too. It gave me comfort to hear a message like this because I always thought that one day, I would become a hard-hearted atheist who "used to be Christian" if I wasn't careful. . . I see so many people who changed their religion because they claim that God didn't do anything for them, though they "loved Him." Those could not be of His sheep, could they? I used to be afraid that I would lose faith in Him and lose my love for Him, but I think a demon must've put that fear in me. I shouldn't really be afraid, because the Lord is keeping me. smile

I know that feeling. But fear not! Jesus has got our backs! You're absolutely right, the Lord is protecting you.
