"That...." Koichi started, looping his arm with Kana's again before starting foward, behind Kaze and Kazan, "was my mother." His voice was somewhat down set, a hint of embarrassment although with amusment somewhere in it. "Just... excuse her, I'd say. By the time this trip is done, you'll wish you never met her," he chuckled as Kazan glanced behind her. "Oni-chan," she started, walking backwards with her hands clasped behind her back, "I can translate for you, if you'd rather have that. I think the guys would be to embarrassed to say some stuff," she giggled, smiling at Kana. "I'm afraid you'll have to drop your stuff off at Kaze's room, for now. Koichi's house, including mine, isn't too far from here, but the grownups are always mean and don't let us leave until after dinner on the first day back," she said, somewhat depressed she couldn't go out shopping. "So, we're stuck in here for the time being!" she said, her mood suddenly purky.

Kana walked alongside Koichi, nodding her head to indicate she understood. "I'm sure I won't wish that!" she exclaimed suddenly, hearing his last comment. But then she laughed, shaking her head slightly in amusement. This probably was going to be interesting... She glanced at Kazan as she spoke up. Her face lit up suddenly. "Ah, really?" she asked, curious what was said that would cause the guy's embarassment. At her next words, she glanced from her small bag to Kaze and then back to Kazan. "Um, ok..." she blinked, but found herself grinning at how quickly Kazan perked back up again. Kana probably failed to realize how similar she herself was to that. She let her hand fall back to her side, releasing her silver locket as she gazed around their surroundings again.

Kaze had stopped in front of his room, pushing the door open lightly. He flicked on a switch, since the room was pretty dark at that moment. "Sorry that it's just...plain," he said, somewhat bland. He dropped his stuff on his bed, taking Kazan's next and placing it next to his. Koichi just placed his on a chair somewhere in the corner before reaching towards Kana for hers. "Come now, Kitty. It's safe in here, don't worry. Kaze doesn't have animals that bite," he chuckled, "although he may at times." Kaze just grunted once, hearing his comment, but crossed his arms, a small smile on his face. "The house is quiet today... I like it," he said, realizing he'd been smiling. "Should be like this more often..." he continued on, although was interupted by Kazan. "It's only because our other Oni-chan isn't here!" she said happily, jumping up and down, "although I do wish she was here."

[Haha, k.]
Kana blinked, hesitating a moment before entering the room. She felt like she was invading, but tried to let herself relax. It was hard though. She also wanted so badly to wander around and explore the area, but she'd most likely get lost somewhere. She broke from her thoughts as she heard Kaze speak. "It's fine," she said with a smile, knowing her old room back home was was very empty too, containing pretty much only a bed and a desk with a chair. She glanced at Koichi next, and slowly handed over her bag before looking back to Kaze. Her ears perked as she blinked at Kazan next. "Who is she?" she asked curiously.

"Skylar!" Kazan smiled, still jumping up and down. "She's Kaze's cuzzy. They don't look anything alike, and they aren't really blood related," she continued on, shrugging as she continued on, "Kaze, here, was adopted. Right, Kazie?" she asked, smiling over at him. Her merely nodded his head at her question. "Indeed. All the same, we grew up like family," he sighed, running a hand through his hair, making sure not to disterb the sunglasses that still lay over his eyes. "Indeed. All the same, we're glad you came into the family. If not, you wouldn't be our buddies, now would you?" he asked, winking at his friend.

Kana nodded slowly, eyes upon Kaze now. She tried to picture what Skylar would look like, but with her only hint being she didn't look like anything like Kaze, she couldn't really narrow it down at all. But after a moment, she tilted her head, still watching Kaze as she wondered why he was wearing sunglasses even though they were now inside. But she smiled happily as he spoke, not catching the wink through his glasses. "Yes!" she exclaimed, nodding her head. She truely was lucky to have met them, and she didn't feel quite as bad about coming here now, since her main concern had been the expenses of riding a plane. If she hadn't been walking by Koichi's dorm room and heard him playing, then she wouldn't be here right now, and she'd still be refusing to let her powers show themselves, and everything would be a lot less interesting.

[ack >< i ment Koichi winked xD my badd xP]
There was a suddon knock at the door, in which another girl, clad in maids clothing, opened the door and bowed. "Je suis desolé, ses amis," she started, still in her bowed poisition, "mais... j'ai boisoin de pris les filles etre vetue," she finished, still bowed. Kazan giggled, grabbing Kaori's hand. "She says she needs to take us to go get changed... although she didn't say what for. We needa get dressed for dinner, you see," she trailed off, dragging Kana out of the room. Koichi and Kaze had their heads lowered, a slight dark blush on their face; one thing they would have been embarrassed to say, was that she needed to go get changed into whatever was prepared for them by... by... Koichi's mom.
[fashion designer o.O but they... have seen some thigns they wish they hadn't for design ideas xD his mom forced it on them >< :as in delacates xp ]

[Oh. xD;;]
Kana blinked, ears perking as she heard the knock, and she spun around to see the girl there bowing. Her first instinct was to bow back, but she caught herself at the last second and watched her instead, head tilted to the side. She glanced around at the other three, looking completely bewildered once again, until Kazan grabbed her hand. Kana trailed behind her, blinking in confusion. "We have to... change to eat?" she asked uncertainly, glancing down at herself. She was still dressed in her shorts and t-shirt, and she suddenly felt very self conscious, about her bandaged arms and hand as well. She glanced back at Koichi and Kaze before she was dragged away, surprised to see them blushing. She turned back to Kazan, walking beside her now. "Um, what do we have to change into?"

[last post, i think xP]
"What ever Koichi's mom has made for us! Usually it's a long dress that has the hems pretty much touching the floor... you know, the fancy ones?" she said, pausing before the last sentence. "Although, I know she was pants, skirts and all that jazz. I've seen them; we're taken into the stuio- which by the way is somewhere in the back of this place- and she picks out something based on what you like...i think. Maybe she just assums," Kazan started, not sure anymore; she was little when it all started. "Anyway, I know you'll like it. The only reason we have to get changed is because the head of the family is going to be there... and, well, he's pretty old fashion," she said, waving a hand in front of her face as though to dismiss him. The maid was still leading them down corridor upon corridor; the building was huge, and they had to make it to the back from the front.

[Alright! I'll see you tomorrow then. ^^]
Kana felt her eyes widen as her fears were confirmed. She was going to be stuffed into some fancy dress, or a skirt, or something else just as horrifying! Though, she was in someone else's house, and they were actually offering her clothing, so she felt she had no right at all to object. But still, her ears drooped very slightly as she followed along with Kazan. Though, a bit of hope was restored as she mentioned pants. She began wondering what Koichi's mom would pick out for her, after studying what she looked like. Anyway, Kazan said she knew she'd like it, so Kana hoped that would turn out to be true. But even if it came down to being a dress, she wouldn't be able to refuse it. Her head tilted slightly as she thought about it, but then she glanced quickly back at Kazan. "The head of the family?" she repeated suddenly, growing even more nervous.

Kazan smiled after a god five minute walk to the back. "Sorry it took so long," she said to Kana asthe maid bowed at the side of the door, before it suddenly swung open and the lady was standing there. "Come," she said, pulling the two girls into the room. She set them both down on a smooth, red clothed couch before hurrying off into a closet. She returned, not to long later, with one dress; it was almost entirely blue, with what looked like a water silky texture. It was, indeed, a dress that bursted out a little under the hips, the ones that looked like they needed those chage things under-although it didn't have one- with a no sleeves and faintly pinched at the very peak of the arm strap. Dark blue lace was used above where the waiste would be, and under the bossom, crisscrossing back and forth; front and back. With the same material, there were two pink flowing pieces of clothe from the area that was pinched on the left shoulder; as though it were an untied ribbon. She left it, dropping and abondoning it on onther couch across from them that seemed to be a deep rich green.
She quickly scurried back into the closet as Kazan looked at the dress; it looked like a dress you'd wear at a fancy party. All the same, it gave off a faint shine. Kazan's eyes suddenly shot to the closet though; they forgot to say Kana didn't like dresses! "Madame!" she called, rising sightly, although she set back down, "Elle n'aime pas les robe ou les joupe," she continued, to a small muffled yes in the closet as a reply.
After another few moments, she returned with something red and white; at first, it did, in fact, look like a dress. Once it was laid out, however, Kazan sighed in relief to see it was just the pants legs being a little loose. The design wasn't too fancy nor complicated, but it wasn't to casual, either; although it could be considered so. The right sleeve-heck, there was no sleeve. Just like the dress, the right sleeve was a little thick piece of cloth, just enough to extend between the neck base and the shoulder blade. From there, on the upper corner, it flowed in red to the peak of where a persons armpit would be, and down into a small cone shaped ending, which extended a quarter way down the upper leg. The left arm, however, was white and was a whole sleeve, becoming big and loose at the end. Sparkles seemed to be punched in where the white met the red; bunches of them. The pants were nothing too special; with a casual black color, it controlled most the pants. The lower right of the leg, however, from the knee and sweeping across in a diagonal way and down, was all red; little silver sparkles, once again, adorned the bottom part of it, making little swirls. "Oni-chan, you're clothing is so cute!" Kazan giggled, looking at the two pieces of clothing.
[my description was bad xD oh, and i just put red instead of black, so pretend that says black on the pants, and the white should be red on the pants, too. Other than that, there is just no sparkles >< added that in just now xD sorry it took a while o.O]

Kana shook her head at the apology. "Don't worry about it!" she smiled, then turned towards the maid as she bowed. It still felt odd having people bow to her, but before she could do or say anything, she was distracted by a door swinging open. She jumped slightly as she was pulled inside and sat on a couch, and couldn't resist running her fingers along the couch's material just for a moment. She quickly looked up again though, as the woman returned with a blue dress. Kana's eyes widened slightly as she looked it over. Of course she thought it was pretty, but she couldn't even imagine herself wearing something like that. So she was relieved to find it was meant for Kazan. She glanced at the other girl as she called to the woman in the closet, and her ears twitched as she heard the lady say something in response. Kana sat perfectly still on the couch as she waited, hands clasped in her lap as she stared at them. But she looked up sharply as the woman reappeared. Her eyes roamed across the clothing for a moment and then she smiled, taking a short while to take it all in. She'd been here only a few minutes, and already she was being dressed up in clothing fancier than anything she owned herself. Needless to say, it felt very odd.

[odd, yes. Pretty; YOU'RE STUNNING xD now you getta dress up for your brother who secretly has a crush on you and doesn't quite know it...did i say that out loud? ninja they're the ones that have to get into suit...things. not really. Something like what yue where in Cardcaptorsakura xD]
Kazan jumped up as Koichi's mother motioned the two of them to come. "Just be lucky they don't make us wear corsets," Kazan winked to Kana, whispering it into her ear so the ladies wouldn't hear. She started skipping along, though, to the dress as she marvled at it. "Name is Abagail!" she smiled at Kana, introducing herself; she knew, or assumed, Kana didn't quite know what to call her. "Elle comprende, oui?" she asked Kazan, who looked over at Kana. "Did... you understand what she just said?" she asked, somewhat sheepishly; she didn't want to make the suggestion that Kana was stupid or something and thusly insult her, but it was the fact that Abagail Demure's english... was still the worst.

[Say what aloud? I didn't hear anything. >>;; Haha, I know who Yue is! Even though I haven't seen the entire series. xD;;]
Kana slowly got to her feet, sticking nervously close to Kazan's side. She blinked at her comment about corsets, but kept herself from exclaiming something about it. It was kind of hard though, and she actually bit her tongue to keep herself quiet. She paused as the woman turned to face her though, ears tilting towards her as she listened to her words. Then she turned towards Kazan as she asked a question as well and slowly nodded her head. "Um, her name is Abagail?" she asked softly, wanting to confirm this as true.

[haha. true, true. okay, did i type that? xD]
Abigale nodded. "This for you," she said as a lady- dressed in maid outfit- came over and lifted the shirt and pants and bowed slightly, so the whole outfit was somewhat slanted, yet almost standing straight. Kazan was too buisy standing over her dress and gazing at the pink part, too obsorbed in it's 'cuteness' to let the maid behind her in. The maid, though, was asked to step back anyway by Abigale since Kazan was so used to just not having anyone lift up her clothing for her to see. Instead, she scooped her hands under it, at the bottom ribbon part, and held it close to her body. "Change soon, yes?" Abi asked, smiling, "dinner in hour or so," she continued on, soundling like a broken english record trying to teach someone english.
