Nah! don't degrade the college you go to. That brings down your self-esteem! In my opinion, all colleges provide the same education, its the difference in atmosphere and concentration of peoples that make it different.

Well actually our whole community is a little like that. We like to tease our rival college too 3nodding So dont think that Im just degrading myself because I dont like the college. I love where I go to. 3nodding

Although, its a little weird since half of the people take classes seriously and the other half dont. sweatdrop

It always seems that way, even at a UC. There are those people that seem to party all the time but get extremely good grades and there are those that study like madmen and only get moderate grades. Some people just absorb material better than others, allowing them more time to mess around in college. I want to be like them!

hehe yea... I'm like the one who parties and still get grades xd although it does kind of depend on my semester. I take easy classes one semester then a lot of hard ones the next @_@

I usually try to balance out a few hard classes with a few easy classes. This coming fall is going to leave me begging for mercy though.

DVC is junior college in Pleasant Hill. It's actually called Diablo Valley College.

I find studying straight like a madman messes you up just as too much partying does.

There is no such thing as partying all the time and getting good grades and also no such thing as studying all the time and getting good grades.

There's a balanced equilibrium between the both, something that most don't seem to understand. When you study, you need to focus and study hard, yet you also need some time to take a break, release any negative energy or stress and just refresh.

And taking a break is best taken away from the home, computer, and tv. Physical exercise and social events tend to be the best (atleast for me.)

That is how I got through my first year of college.
