Best was my halo B. worst was my egg cause it kept cracking.
Everytime I see an Egg, it looks like a freaking frankenstein; duct tape madness all over. (I mean come on, it's called the Egg, eggs are fragile and such) I'm looking to get a new hopper. To all those Egg heads out there, prove me wrong!
Well about a year or more ago VL improved the design of the Egg shells. Alot of the stuff like broken of lids is a thing of the past due to the new design.They made the neck of the hopper more supported so you don't have broken front screws on it. They also made a new screw design for the lid so people don't wind up stripping the plastic and ending up haveing crap for a lid.
Now for the all so called fragile battery door. I don't know what people do to do this but I'm not sure. Unless your shoving to big of batterys in their IDK. I heard some people get shot in the battery pack and it brakes. I've been shot their numerous times and no damage. I might suggest taking out the battery spacer, me and my Father have ours out and none of our battery doors have broken and I alone have been using a Egg for like 3 years.
Now theirs for the people who cry about speed. A Egg wil get lets say 18 sence people like to disclaim it's speed so much. OK 18. There is no way in hell your going to have the time on the field to get up to shooting 18 bps and not get lit up like a Christmas tree. Don't cry about ramping. Your gun in any leauge should be capped at 15 bps. The Egg has 3 over that and their should be no problem. I see Halo B's to only be tools useful to show off.
And people if you throw a hopper on the ground it is likely to brake. My friend kicked his Halo B after he dove into the snake and his Halo B hit the ground and it napped like a twig. So then he drop kicked it into the air about 15 feet up. Winding up with totally cracked shells,even know the shells were screwed already.
EDIT: The nickname "Egg" is due to it's shape and not it's so called weakness. The reason shells also break is so the company does not go outta business. It's kinda like lightbulbs. Companys could make lightbulbs that could last like forever but they choose not so people come back to buy more.
