Jhay-R Anatares I dislike Tifa not because her boobs are big, but because she so obviously flaunts them. Ever watch how she walks ingame? I didn't think it physically possible to bend your spine out of shape bringing your boobs up to your face most of your life and then still be able to sit in a chair normally. Also, she guilt trips Cloud into a lot of stuff - What kinda friend is that? "Oh Cloud you need to help us save the world because you made a promise to me ten years ago!" And her one line in Advent Children was incredibly low - "Which is it? A memory or us?" stressed That's so wrong.... Tifa doesn't really flaunt them in FF7. She walks like a normal person would, and considering the graphical quality you can't really say, can you? It's just something that the game developers did, but she never did it to get attention. Just to make the perverts back home happy, though she didn't know any of them and if she did it'd be breaking the 4th wall... She may have guilted Cloud slightly, but it was all for the greater good. Plus, they've done it in many animes! The girl sees the other guy, and yells, "Please, stop it! You promised me you wouldn't do it, you promised!" The only difference is that she reversed it, because she needed his help to save the world. Wouldn't any sane person do it if they were in the same position? And, that line... She said it because Cloud had promised her something. She's just asking if he had truly meant that promise, or if he was whispering sweet nothings into her ear with no intetion of really keeping them. That's all it meant. I mean, she just wanted to know if he really was going to be with her and help her when she could no longer fight, or if he just said it to shut her up. I've done the same.... For my last post of the morning, I shall yell AMEN BROTHER!!

She rushes into situations and ends up getting herself in trouble as a result. Personally I think this is due to her strong will, and having such a strong will is an admirable trait. I like her though." And you say you like Aeris because of her admirable spirit. Tifa, too, has one. I mean, she damn near got herself killed when she went up against Sephiroth, one of the strongest men on the planet, by herself to avenge her father's death. She went straight for him because she wanted to right what was wrong, and almost died doing so. And now, she holds a scar on her body forever reminding her of that incident... She didn't care if she died or not to do what she felt was right. I think that's something very admirable, something that I've followed along with Aeris's teachings.

Jhay-R um... above dude, that's random.... But people often say they hate Tifa or Aeris for one thing.... The main thing they don't like to say.... The Cloud/Aeris/Tifa love triangle. CloTi's (Cloud/Tifa) will often hate Aeris, while Cleris's (Cloud/Aeris) will hate Tifa. Then, they will make as many excuses as possible to hate them. They'll say stuff like "Aeris is a b***h for trying to break up Tifa and Cloud's relationship," or "Tifa's a whore because of her breasts, and she should stay away from Cloud," or b*llsh*t like that. Really, it's people like that that make me want to kill, really... I love Aeris and Tifa both equally, and I don't see Aeris as a b***h or Tifa as a whore. It just ain't right. I mean, Aeris showed no intention of breaking up Tifa and Cloud's relationship. If anything, she didn't know Tifa was interested in Cloud like that, because Tifa never tried to date him or hit on him or anything. And Tifa is in NO WAY a slut, if you say that because of her outfit or bustsize, I will freaking kill you. Well, I won't, but that's just bull, man. Tifa never did anything that a whore or a hooker would do, never said she would do the enemy for money, or strip for them if they let her go, or anything like that! So, just learn to see with eyes unclouded by hate. If you like CloTi, don't hate Aeris because of it. Same for Cleris, don't hate Tifa and call her a whore or anything. If you dislike their character, not their body or their lovelife, then go ahead amazing as it sounds to me. Just don't be hating on them because of your selfish desires of pairing who you think should be paired and killing the other off because you think they're in the way. Just my way of thinking. I totally agree with you. 3nodding I like Aerith but I have absolutely nothing against Tifa. Its ridiculous how poeple just bash them so pointlessly. -_-"

I also question why people think Cloud and Tifa should be together. Cloud obviously prefers Aeris and if she hadn't had died(Thanks to Sephiroth. . . ) he would've obviously chosen her over Tifa. People always say "They should be together" but I think he only cares for her as a close friend/sister.
Also, I've already clearly stated that I don't hate either of them, so don't think I'm bashing Tifa in any way/shape/form because I'm not. I like Tifa.

I don't want to bash Tifa or Aeris but they both just plain annoy me. Tifa is too much of a worrier and Rufus and Tifa fans keep trying to put Tifa with Rufus GRRRR! Which would never happen anyway because I'd kill her evil biggrin ....And Aeris is too nice. For some reason that irritates me. Maybe because I'm independent and Aeris sounds like a girl who needs to be rescued all the time. No offense to her outfit. mad I hate pink unless it's hotpink with black.
Don't get angry with me! I'm just being honest about my point of view of it. This might give you a perspective on why people hate Tifa and Aeris and I don't hate them, they just annoy me.

The game is a bit of a preference thing... you either want Aeris of Tifa to get with Cloud, so you usually end up disliking the other.
However I didn't like the idea of Cloud with Aeris but I still dislike Tifa and like Aeris... I don't know, I just find Tifa to be annoying.

Um... well maybe its cause in the begining the guys felt uncomferatible near the begining where you had to wear a dress
I personaly like Tifa and Aeris oh and even Yuffie
and that first part the first time I played it i was messing arround alot in the begining I had the silk dress the dimand tiara the thong painties the blond wig and the purfume and when the Don picked me I droped to the floor laughing my butt off and I wanted to see if i could make cloude kiss him of course the two girls would have to stop me lmbo, this was back when it first came out too got it on the second day of its release and that part was my fourth day damn man and I couldent figure out why noone else was picked by the don lol but I checked it out on the net how to do that and I did all 3 senarios

How is it obvious that Cloud would choose Aeris? Ive never seen that. And reasoning behind Tifa is that without his general care and affection for her, nothing in the game wouldve gone the way it did. Canon of the story depicts that he cared for Tifa since he was a child and left the town in order to prove himself to the town and impress Tifa. I have more, but Im tired and dont want to write a lot. But Id like to see how its obvious Cloud would choose Aeris.
