“Oh you will cause I wont stop until your down on the ground and bleeding. And I doubt a mare could hold out against me.” Snarling again he had the strength and the knowledge of fighting to handle this fight. He whirled around her to get away from her rear and leap. As he did so he attempted to knock her down with his ears pinned back and teeth bared.

You are a fool to think you will knock me down! Even as she said this and she was tackled down by the brute force that was Rahu, she stood up again, although she staggered a bit. Gasping and panting to try and gain her breath back, she suddenly realized she was frozen. She had, until now, kept from keeping eye contact with Rahu, but once their eyes connected, she couldn't move. Nickering pitifully, she cried out (in horsetalk), Let me go. Give me up... please! She felt the sudden rush of aching muscles, her right hind leg bleeding profusing from a long scratch made by Rahu's hooves. She locked her legs so that she wouldn't drop, but even she knew she could not hold out much longer.

Rahu glared at her and stopped suddenly as there eyes met. His eyes only softened for a moment before going back to angered filled eyes. Snorting he glared at her for a few moments with pinned back ears and bared teeth. “You’re lucky this time but next time I won’t stop. Ever decided to challenge me like that you will regret more than you do now.” Shaking his head as he turned away to leave. He still could not believe what Aruna had done, but then he could not believe now what he did to Aruna. Shaking his head once again, he had made her now look pitiful and even act it. Snorting again he was just going to leave her, before he felt sorry for what he had done.

He's leaving... and it's all my fault. Again. Collapsing, Aruna closed her eyes. Her side was still bleeding, and she grit her teeth in pain. What have I done? I just lost my mind... Rahu's last words echoed in her mind, literally a reminder of her current pain. There would be a scar on her flank for sure... If she continued to lose any more blood, she would die. How would she get past this?

Rahu then stopped in his tracks and shook his head. he did not know why he was going to bother to help her but he was. it was his mostly his falt for this and he just could not leave her there hurt. his heart would just not let him do that. " i dont know why im going to bother asking but would you like some help?" was all he said with his back still to her, he gave a sigh.

Aruna opened her eyes, even though she couldn't see Rahu or his form. "Why would someone who hates all mares now offer help? You did this to me to prove that you were back to your old self." She neither asked nor answered his question of help, merely returned a question of her own, wanting to understand his motives. She had accepted that he had changed--why did he just not leave her where she was, like the weak mare she was?

" maybe so but then something inside me tells me i should just not leave you here. if you want i can just easly walk away and leave you here with out regreting it in the lest because you told me to leave." he then walked back over to her and came face to face with her. "i may be back how i was but for some reason you still have a way of making me soft only around you. and i doubt i could stop that no matter how hard i try."

"Then why don't you? You..." Aruna heaved a shuddering breath, closing her eyes once more. It was no use. She needed to find someone to tend to her bleeding side... When she felt his breath, her eyes shot open in surprise. "...Truly?" she whispered. Her mind processed Rahu's red eyes, and it flashed Delano for a minute, and then returned to Rahu again. She was so confused...

“If you want me to then fine I will leave you hear at the mercy of predators or I can help you.” He continued to look her in the eyes serious about what he said. “mmhmm I’m serious about everything I have said.” snorting once he stood there and awaited her reply on if she would take his help. Still he wondered why he even bothered to offer this help or say anything.

Aruna closed her eyes, choosing not to respond to Rahu. He could do as he pleased. She'd given up. Her spirit was broken. There was nothing she could do to help him anymore. He had moved on... and moved the other way, back to his old self, the Rahu she'd first met, only he was worse. Why was he still standing here, anyway? "If I want?" she finally said, eyes still closed. She concentrating on breathing. "What about you? I thought you didn't care about what I wanted."

Rahu rolled his eyes more than annoyed now since she was asking all these things. “Who cares what I think or what currently. And I won’t explain myself or answer any questions no more. You ether now take my help or not. I truly hate repeating myself, so ether answer what I asked or I walk.” Snorting he just wanted a straight answer, instead of being asked things. Still standing there he awaited what she would say next.

Aruna gave a shuddery breath. "Then ignore me and do as you please. You've already said you hated me--plenty of times. I just ignored it and kept going." She tried to sit up, but only whinnied softly in pain. The blood was beginning to dry and clog up her wound, keeping it from bleeding more. However, if she moved again, her flank would begin to bleed once more... so she was stuck. How was she to heal?! For the most part as she was thinking, she ignored Rahu. He had officially strained her--mentally and physically.

Rahu snorted and turned away walking. She had tried his patients and at was at its limits. Stopping before he totally walked away he had one last thing to say to her. “You have tried my patients enough. I been jerked around too much to even have a once of compassion and that’s why I went back to how I was. I never show any weakness even when it tore me inside with everything that has happened between us. And you know what that’s all I have to say to you now.” Flicking his tail, he then continued to walk away and did not look back.

 Delano moved across the open field, his red coat gleaming in the light that bathed upon his bloody colored coat. He knew Aruna would be around somewhere as this was clsoe to her home. He had not been able to think of anything else except her since their meeting, that magical night...so much like the fairy tales he only dreamed of. His golden Angel. "Aruna!" He called out. "Where are you my Golden angel? I seek the angel who brings me peace and heaven on earth" He smiled hoping she would hear him.

Aruna's ears perked up when she heard a most familiar and welcoming voice. "De... Delano!?" she called, or tried to, her voice was so hoarse. But hopefully he'd hear her--him being a unicorn and all. Rahu had left, it seemed... well, fine by her. Her knight in shining armor was here now. "Delano..." she whispered, moving to try and see if she could catch a glance of his shimmering red coat.
