He shouted back, his control on his power slipping slightly. (heh...slipping slightly...and hes slippery...) "And it is hardly my fault that you cannot control your own power!"

"You had to do something when you were their age, else you wouldn't be around, or nearly as fun as you normally are!" Starry shouted in reply, her hand growing hot now. "It's your fault that I'm this angry, you know just as well as any other pae that emotions are a huge effect of the power!"

"Yeah, I SLEPT!" He didn't squint against the bright light, to angry to give into anything she did or said. "True, but I'm not slipping and sliding around now am I?!"

"You mean to tell me that you never tried to reach for anything, or eat things that you couldn't have?" Starry started glowing brigther and brighter, waiting for Dameon to need to turn away from the light she was creating. "No, but you didn't just have two children fall out of you now did you? Do you have any idea how much they screwed with my hormones and emotions?"

"I didn't eat anything strange until I was a kid, and that was because I wanted to be with you!" He stayed strong against her light, the anger boiling in him giving him a twisted strength. "And no I didn't and no I don't. But do YOU know how much of an impact it was to become a father the SAME day I became a father?! I didn't look up any books on parenting or get advice from raken or anything! When you weren't around I was on my own. I didn't have the neccisary items for raising a baby, a crib, proper formula, diapers, anything! Would a little warning kill you?!"

"And you think I wanted to have them? The only reason that you didn't know you were going to be a father was because Umi wouldn't let me out of my room! If you really loved me then you would have been around everyday incase I had gotten pregnant or needed help watching kids!" She shouted, still growing brighter with each word.

"How was I-" If you really loved me. His heart tightened painfully. What were they doing? Had the arguement really gotten that bad? Ignoring the bright light, he walked up to Starry, steel blue eyes emotionless. An arm gently went around her waist, heart feeling like it would explode. "Starry...I do love you. So much it hurts me." At the risk of being slapped or enraging her further, he leaned down and kissed her.

She fought Dameon for a moment, receding into the kiss. "Sometimes it doesn't feel like you do." Starry mumbled, having pulled away for a moment, realizing that she had shouted many things that she hadn't meant... "I'm... I'm sorry Love."

With his other hand he reached up and gently caressed her cheek, wondering how in the world he could have yelled such hurtful words at Starry, pushing her to doubt his feeling for her. "I'm sorry too...and I really do love you. It might not always shine like a becon but...I do."

He hugged her lightly with the arm around her waist, lightly putting his head on hers. "It seems like forever since I held you like this." He said softly.

"It does, doesn't it." she managed to say from the current postion of her head. Starry wrapped one of her arms around Dameon's waist, the other one reaching up to rest on the othe side of his neck.

"I do have a sitter back in the tree." She whispered, burrying her head further into his neck. They had just gotten over their first fight, she still wanted time with him to make up for the mean things that she had said to him.
